    It would be silly to directly compare this to Returnal, given the enormous difference in scale, but I can’t help but be reminded of it. That sense of enjoying failing at the earliest stages, with a constant sense of improving as I do.

    4/10 TLDR: Tried to get into it, couldn't get into it. overall an unforgiving mess of a game. Long Version: The black and white graphics is4/10 TLDR: Tried to get into it, couldn't get into it. overall an unforgiving mess of a game. Long Version: The black and white graphics is cool, music and amount of items to craft but the game-play is just a dull, overly repetitive and overall unforgiving mess. You finally start grinding the first level enough for resources to build a decent rifle and lightning strikes try to kill you on top of everything else. You start a run and instantly get ate by a giant worm. You make it more than 50ft from the start point and get shot at by a sniper that can kill you in nearly one or two shots. If you die more than 15 or so times, a cannon starts destroying the ships that help deliver you air strikes, but who cares, you haven't even gotten any crafted by this point, because you were trying to craft other junk that got destroyed with you at the start point from a lightning strike while trying to hide behind cover from aliens shooting at you. Just a forewarning to people coming from Synthetik: LR like myself, it's nothing like it and fooled myself into thinking it would be similar based on the trailer.… Full Review »
