I picked this indie game up about a year ago and it is still fun to play. The game will run at 25-30 FPS even on a mac with a core 2 duo processor. The graphics are great and the music is phenomenal. I had problems with my game at one point, so I contacted the developer and he responded within a day with instruction on how to fix it. My one gripe with this game is that while the controller is a fantastic method of playing, the keyboard controls are annoying and hard to get used to. The combat system is ingenious, with the ability to fire very explosive missiles (that can also damage you, so be careful), lighter rockets, and bombs to catch the enemy chasing you. The AI is very hard to beat, and if you can handle it you can add up to two after that one, or plug in another controller and battle your friend or brother. This double player experience did make my frame rate tank, so a really beefy computer would be a nice consideration. If I could add anything to this game, it would be a better indicator throughout the game of which rocket you are.
Recap:
Great indie game for a great price with intriguing mechanics, impeccable detail and a few minor keyboard control issues (use a controller if you have one). This is why my rating is 9/10… Expand
