    Point, Click, and Walk around a dystopian 90s country. You're a teen on the run trying to become free. The narrative spins through side characters you keep running into, seeing how the world changes, and if your teens attempting to escape changes anything leading up to election day.     Very nice indie game. I love atmosphere in this game. But story is not super good, political etc.

    I really hate it when a game that has a pretty decent idea with a huge potential is ruined bad writing and mechanics.The story of a runaway trying to cross the border is something that is not very often explored in games and I though that this game which mains focus is to cross the border would be a huge hit. Sadly the writing for half of the characters were not decent(the Yo Kid was made by a sadist) while the other half were pretty interesting and fun to be around with(truck driver goes beep beep). The mechanics if you can even call them that are pretty basic and there is not a lot of things to do with them , the game is incredibly easy especially when you learn lockpicking which makes the choices in the game very easy since there are barely any negative consequences. Story had a pretty decent start and an alright middle but for me the ending was pretty sappy ,predictable and boring and the choices you make in the entire game have zero consequences (well almost zero some minor I guess). I would've actually preferred it if we followed a long journey of a single hitchhiker and the characters he meets while trying to survive and with more (way more) polished mechanics. The soundtrack was pretty good and the voice acting was also well for the most part. I still think the game is worth the decent price of 20 bucks.… Expand

    Отвратно прописанный мир, где непонятно что происходит и зачем тебе бежать. Персонажи творят полную фигню, а тебе не понимающим за что предлагают ненавидеть правительство и бежать из страны. Демка выглядела топово, но я думал что это вырванный из контекста кусок игры и в полной игре пояснят за мир и почему президент плохой, но этого не происходит. Игра просто говорит: Он плохой, потому чтоОтвратно прописанный мир, где непонятно что происходит и зачем тебе бежать. Персонажи творят полную фигню, а тебе не понимающим за что предлагают ненавидеть правительство и бежать из страны.     It has its fair share of issues, lots of bugs and game breaking glitches that were persistent for months after launch, cheesy voice acting and dialogue and a cliched story that didn't seem quite fit of the subject matter that it was trying to portray but at the end of the day I enjoyed my time with this overall and the variety of characters and stories keeps it refreshing enough that thatIt has its fair share of issues, lots of bugs and game breaking glitches that were persistent for months after launch, cheesy voice acting and dialogue and a cliched story that didn't seem quite fit of the subject matter that it was trying to portray but at the end of the day I enjoyed my time with this overall and the variety of characters and stories keeps it refreshing enough that that I wanted to keep playing.… Expand

    good little game. i liked it. the dialogue choices doesn't change a lot the consequence except some radical ones. it is worth to play for 7 hours and half to fil a half day

    I honestly enjoyed the game. It's a very simple game yet it is a very quick game to complete. There are many paths to be explored and different outcomes to all but it does get very repetitive the longer you play

    After playing prequel, this game is way way better. Actually very interesting game concept of escaping the border with multiple characters. Very good soundtrack, average story, some characters were good.

    I played this game last year on game pass, and I loved it. It definitely helped me at a kind of low point. My only complaint is that this game was begging to have an actual protagonist, whether they be voiced or silent protagonist. I know the main flow of the game would have had to be reworked for that, but I think the relationships between the characters and the player could have beenI played this game last year on game pass, and I loved it.     Developer Digixart has crafted a thoughtful look at what it’s like to live in tumultuous circumstances, and how it can affect people emotionally. It’s sadly prescient of the world we actually live in, and maybe that’s why Road 96’s message of survival and perseverance make the impact it does, at least the first time around.
