    This was one of the most immersion filled dlc's ever played. Thanks you for the amazingly detailed mansion, the pictures on the wall, all the small objects on the tables, music, atmosphere, creepiness, and the story itself which was so amazing, i listened to every audio, explored every corner, Amount of effort and detail put into this is just amazing.

    It added so much background to Lara's story, so much information, what a pleasure to play in a small but super interesting place like Croft's mansion. You guys really pull off good stuff when you put your mind to it.
    For the record i enjoyed Tomb raider 2013, and Rise of the tomb raider storys, and the dlcs were decent, Baba yaga was the best because of how unusual it was. But now blood ties is the best for me. Enjoyed slow walking across this huge mansion feeling the tension finding more information, exploring, and learning new things.

    You didnt have to do this, but you did so thank you for it.
    Only makes me wish you continue Lara's story and let us enjoy more of this great world.    … Expand

    An amazing addition to an amazing game. SE and CD defiantly listened to the fans and added every thing we have been asking for years. Also the fact that its free with the SP when they could of easily charged people for it makes it even better.

    This is undoubtedly one of the greatest game in the recent history and definitely the best Tomb Raider game in the franchise! This is the way you do a sequel and I can't wait for the third game!

    A decent way to add some depth to Lara's character.

    The mansion looks awesome, the atmosphere is pretty good and I had fun exploring, but the puzzles are straight up annoying and just difficult to figure out.

    It's a good DLC but way too short, not sure if I recommend it.

    Final Rating: "Decent" ~ 6/10.

    Blood Ties feels like a distant cousin to The Room games, but with less puzzles and more reading/listening. There's not much to the gameplay other than walking around the Manor and finding documents and relics explaining Lara's family history. A sensible vehicle to expand on the lore, but much of the meaningful background could've been embedded in the main story with more soul in the writing.
