Jesus it won't shut up at first and just let you ride. I hate tutorials like this, I like to learn the controls in it, but it keep stopping you. The 90ish surfer dude banter is cool, until they won't just stfu and let you ride the bikes and such. I tried Zen mode out, i feel like it would be cooler if I had more unlocked, so now I have to endure the endless text/talk to do what I actuallyJesus it won't shut up at first and just let you ride. pros: really fun gameplay, a massive map
cons: mediocre music/radio, souless aesthetic(everything is brightly colored and cringe), some of the worst motion sickness I've had from a game, unskippable cutscenes / hour+ long tutorial

IDK what they were thinking with that opening segment. I almost put the game down because of it.

This is the first game from Ubisoft in a long time that people want to play again. It brings something new and cool again.

Kudos to Ubisoft for being brave enough to release a full-scale game focused on extreme sports – we definitely need more of these. Now for the bad news: like most Ubisoft games, at least half of the content is either superfluous, or underdeveloped. Only skiing and snowboarding are actually good, bikes are tolerable at best, and skydiving is just meh. [Issue#257, p.68]

With a focus on extreme sports, Ubisoft has created a huge open, free paradise that allows players of all levels to enjoy the fun of extreme sports itself - it's safe to say that Riders Republic has indeed created a "utopia" for the fans of extreme sports.

Riders Republic is a very good extreme sports game, its ambitious and there are loads of contents and things to do with grand challenges online, but they are offered to the player with the Ubisoft style that became a bit too familiar over the years.
