I was honestly hoping for Ride 4 to be the greatest motorcycle racing game of this generation. In some ways, it is innovative, but overall, I can only say i'm disappointed.

The "Ride" series has a huge problem throughout: the lack of investiment in the A.I. Cheers to Milestone for having the same hideous AI for every game, I can't even express how frustrated I feel after beeing ran

Cheers to Milestone for having the same hideous AI for every game, I can't even express how frustrated I feel after beeing ran over by other NPC's. It really feels like a reenactment of a race, the A.I doesn't even acknowledge your player, if you stand in their way, they WILL crash into you, making singleplayer races a terrible place to be if you're trying to have fun.

I was truly hoping that they would fix the A.I, at least it was an improvement from the 3rd game, but still not good enough to be in a racing game IMO.

And it doesn't stop there, the difficulty meter is also a joke, even at the "very easy" level, there are bikes faster than yours, and the same ridiculous A.I, it feels more like a placebo than anything. Even when buying and upgrading new motorcycles, you don't really get a advantage, all the NPC's will use bikes with similar, or even the same specs as yours, technically making for a more balanced experience, but not really.

If you're new to motorcycle racing games... It's gonna be a painful journey. From all the frustration I've got from this game, I would like to give it a huge 0, but I can't really ignore the good parts of the game.

Ride 4 is brilliant and frustrating all at the same time. Although you can simplify the game right down, I felt that it is a tough game to gain the confidence to then up the realism without looking online for guidance. That said, I really felt that I was racing on the seat of my pants. With all of the options that you can tweak, Ride 4 will allow even the novice rider confidently take an R1 down the tarmac, or at least to the first corner.

There are two editions of Ride 4 available, standard and special. The special edition will feature a steel-book dedicated to the iconic Yamaha R1 2020 as well as a season pass with an additional 65 new bikes, 2 tracks and 150 new events.

If you love motorbike racing, Ride 4 is for you, just be aware that like any motorbike it can be an unforgiving soab if you get it wrong on track.

It is not only the best motorcycle game, the graphics on the pc have reached such a realism that it seems to be really on the track. I can buy all the bikes that have made motorcycling history and use them on all tracks.

Such a downgrade from RIDE 3. Way too many bikes are too hard to handle, it's so unforgiven. The corners are your worst enemies and especially the very first one because you need to focus on the other bikers, either they bump into you or you softly bump into them and 9 out of 10 times you fall. Unplayable trash with beautiful graphics. Playing this crap will scare you off riding motorcycles but I promise you controlling a bike irl is a million times easier than in this broken game.

I've seen a lot of great screenshots all over the internet, so I hoped the game would look awesome. Man, was I wrong! Even on max settings the game looks like it was released on PS3. And the thing is not even open world, unlike forza that looks 10 times better.

It took me like 20 minutes to beat the first track (it just wouldn't let me open the main menu unless I did). As soon as you touch the the ground outside the track, your lap results are "not counted". The thing that's supposed to show you trajectory and speed is just broken. It can go from blue(too slow) to red(too fast) like 10 times per second.
And after I got through the tutorial, I gained access to 1 race track. Everything else was locked. I couldn't get the required time on that track no matter how I tried, so career mode was a no-go for me. I also tried to race with bots, but they were just completely ignoring me. They were driving on their trajectories and hitting me as soon as I got on their way.
Oh, and the game doesn't even support dualshock.

Worst superGP racing “sim” ever made. It’s not a sim at all. Controls are literally impossible to manage. Steering the bike is a joke. NPC riders take 70° apexes at 100mph but your bike can’t even make a 130° turn at any speed above 50. This game is trash. Don’t waste your time.

Ride 4 is a good way to enjoy the world of two wheels among its fans. The franchise just needs to improve a career mode that feels dated.

Where the game succeeds, it does so beautifully. True to life graphics and fun and funky music are great tools. But at the end of the day, it’s the content within that will determine the fate of you game. I feel that Ride 4, is simply not for newer players. Veteran’s of the style will probably adore it. New players who want to break into the genre, I’d recommend MotoGP 20 first.

Ride 4 is tough, really tough, but not always in a good way. The penalty system is confusing, the driver’s A.I. is quite stupid and some parts of the game aren’t explained enough. However, if a challenge is what you seek, this might be the game for you.
