    Village is a concoction of spectacular amusements framed by an insane storyline, and this grotesque circus is varied enough for you to stay for one playthrough.

    Resident Evil Village felt like it wanted to provide something for everyone, but to its own detriment. Those early bits which serve horror fans more were so, so good, and it was such a shame it lost sight of what made things engaging as it careered towards the end. I still had trouble putting it down, though. Even in its most absurd moments.

    It's been 84 years since "Resident Evil 4" came out and i'm so happy Capcom finally brings this concept back. Very good Horror game.     Really didn't like this one. Drags on a bit, and the storyline is really silly and doesn't fit well within the Resident Evil series. But evenReally didn't like this one. Drags on a bit, and the storyline is really silly and doesn't fit well within the Resident Evil series. But even as a standalone game, I won't be giving it another play-through. The graphics are great, but the environments are repetitive and boring, all with virtually the same dreary colours, making what could have been a great village map into an eye-sore. The dialogue is sub-par too, and the character of Chris Redfield has been brought down by this instalment. I hope they don't pursue this storyline any further or take this as the ideal route for future Resident Evil games.… Full Review »

    Overall a lackluster game. I really wanted to enjoy this as I loved 7 but this just didnt do it for me.

    The game itself looked great but everything else seemed to not meet expectation. The best parts of the game were over before you knew it. Boss fights lacked creativity and the story was subpar.

    I will give a plus to the lore added to the universe however, as the "science" behind everything is very interesting. My wife is watching the game played on YouTube and having the knowledge of the game then watching it with here as been more interesting than the game itself.
