Probably due to my age, and not being as fast as I was in my youth, this game is very difficult to play stock. I ended up downloading multiple mods and altering a few additional things as well, and this game became immensely fun.

This is a fun action game, with many uncomfortable control configurations for me. I do not like the random hit a key or die parts of the game that come up frequently, nor do I care for the instant super boss, which is not quite like the classic Resident Evil. The boss fights, villains and foes were all well done, just nonsensical. I just kept laughing and thinking, matter is neither created nor destroyed, unless you have a virus apparently.
In all, this is a very fun action game with a decent Resident Evil story hidden inside. I thoroughly enjoyed them game, with the assistance of some mods, which alleviated the awkward controls, limited field of view, and the hit this key or die now parts. With the Resident Evil remakes occurring, and Resident Evil 4 on the table for its new release next year, I am looking forward to seeing what they do to Resident Evil 5. Everything is there to be a game of the year, but it just needs more Resident Evil within.… Expand
