    A remake to one of the greatest games of all time, somehow made even better.

    I couldn't care for the microtransactions debate as it doesn't affect the actual game and who's really playing RE4 for Mercenaries longer than a week

    This game kept me focused all the time, really impressed with the remake. I recommend trying if u like this type o games.

    Joguei tanto a versão antiga quanto essa e posso dizer sem medo: o remake valeu a pena. Não só tiraram aquelas frases toscas do Leon, mas melhoraram a qualidade da jogabilidade e adicionaram mais elementos de horror.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake did what was needed. It's the perfect remake of the original. If you loved the original you will also love this one.

    Pleasantly surprised with this game. Haven't played the original so my opinion is definitely not influenced by nostalgia. I played most of the RE games in the series (RE2R, RE3R, RE5, RE7, RE8) and this is I think my favorite out of all of them. What I like:
    The level design - every combat opportunity is unique, and you can also use the environment to deal with the enemies,
    the    Pleasantly surprised with this game. Haven't played the original so my opinion is definitely not influenced by nostalgia. I played most of the RE games in the series (RE2R, RE3R, RE5, RE7, RE8) and this is I think my favorite out of all of them. What I like:
    The level design - every combat opportunity is unique, and you can also use the environment to deal with the enemies,
    the encounters are unique and doesn't get boring,
    enemy variety,
    boss fights,
    the characters, and the interaction between the two protagonists (Leon, and Ashley). and so much more.

    So yeah, I really adore this game and I highly recommend that you go play it!    … Expand

    Ótimo game, mas bem distante da experiência survival horror gerada no RE7 e no RE2. O jogo como um todo está maior e consequentemente sua ambientação e experiência geral sofre pela perda de cenários medonhos/amedontradores, o que não me agrada muito, mas não afeta a qualidade geral do jogo.

    "Resident Evil 4 Remake" is a great updated remake of the classic game that gives us the chance to relive the horrors of the Spanish village with incredible graphics and improved game mechanics. The gameplay remains true to the original, but now with more modern controls and visuals. The developers have paid careful attention to detail, creating an exciting world and terrifying enemies.

    It is a game that although it largely follows the original script, it is a totally different game, the new Gameplay, the improved artificial intelligence, a reasonable challenge, and with extra modes that will invite you to replay it.

    Don't be fooled by the bad reviews, it's a very good remake. The gameplay, mechanics and graphics were very good. I also played the original game, there were very appropriate adjustments and unnecessary scenes were removed✨

    Resident Evil 4 is a good remake. It is not as creative as RE 2 reincarnation, and it follows the original too diligently, but it still looks very decent.

    As far as remakes go, Resident Evil 4 is very solid, but very safe, to the point of losing some of the original’s spark. Early RE games used to be unashamedly goofy, and RE4R seems to be afraid of that legacy. [page 64]

    Resident Evil 4 is a truly fantastic remake of an already-stellar title. Some of the omissions, tweaks and changes do mean that it’s a perfect complement to the original experience rather than a replacement, but this is about as fine an update to a classic as one could possibly hope for.
