Sep 15, 2011Best FPS i have ever played.. Not for the weak at heart, this is a hardcore experience for true PC gamers to enjoy! Most bugs will be patched out in the next week or two.

Sep 19, 2011Not for the faint at heart. Steep learning curve, but if realism and the horrors of war are your cup of tea, then HoS is a game for you. I stay with one map until I feel I have mastered the nooks and carnies of all the best hiding places. This game will last me for a long time without gamer burnout. Outstanding job TripWire. Can't wait for new material to be included.

Feb 10, 2012Noobs hate it and i just love their tears and endless butthurt because they get killed fast :D play COD if a realistic war game is too much for you! Yeah it had some problems at the beginning but they are mostly gone now!
-
Mar 9, 2012Never let me down, COD game pace, BF rebirth of the way and RO complex operation, Basically, when you play the game would not go back to play RO41-45

Sep 19, 2011If this game was released 10 years on ps2 it would get an 8 or 9. I wonder why they use these outdated engines, they can't look at the finished product and say this is just AWESOME. What a crappy game that I will never play again.
-
Sep 15, 2011Haters be haters, this game is awesome, my rig plays it on all max settings, loving every second.
Yeah there are some bugs but Tripwire as usual has been quick to stomp on them.
Played RO since the mod days and worked on the DH mod for RO:OST. -

Sep 19, 2011A long time RO1 player and a huge fan of the series, so had high expectations. It has some bugs, and it isn't perfect, but the game itself is excellent. Already announced FREE DLC to come. Also two mod teams already hard at work to bring the Pacific and Vietnam versions to life. The future for this game is as bright as ever.
-
Sep 19, 2011It's a great game. Yeah, it had a buggy release but I can guarantee that Tripwire will fix almost everything. Plus, they will give us free content with future updates (maps, tanks, etc..) I rate it a 10 because I know when Tripwire is finished with it (they will support for a very long time) it will be amazing.
-
Dec 30, 2011I LOVE this game. It not like your ordinary shooter. I wish it was more popular, don't know why so little plays it. I'm having a BLAST! What more needs to be said?

Sep 17, 2011Red Orchestra 2 is just the best WW2 game ever. epic graphics and amazing gameplay with a nice cover system and a lot of functions that made this game fantastic.
-
Sep 22, 2011Now, with the newest updates the game runs smoothly without any problems and/or bugs. It's one of the most atmospheric FPS Shooter besides STALKER series.
The singleplayer campaign it's not very shiny, but the multiplayer is absolutely stunning. The graphics are really good and well optimized as well as the sound which adds more points to the atmosphere. -

Dec 6, 2011This game is a really cool game. Its very complex and feels like one of the most realistic WW2 sims I've seen. Only problem I have with it is that I am horrible at his game, to the point where it isn't even funny lol 7/10

i gave a medium mark to the game because even if it's awesome game the game don't stop crashing when i play as in the campaign as online, when i buy i game i don't want to solve any issues ! -

Jun 2, 2012Red Orchestra is what I call good try. Very good gameplay with more realism but seems unfinished. Very bad graphics with silly shooting and scoping. This game need just a little touch to be really good.

Sep 14, 2011While Red Orchestra 2 is a relatively fun game, horrible tutorials, stupid AI and a repetitive trainer may be a put off for some Singleplayer fans. Generally, the guns seem balanced and no one faction severely overpowers the other.
-
Apr 30, 2012Sorry to say bud fail game ply graphics are oke bud that its just unplayable for pc to many bugs and stupid ai running back and forward and manny bugs even the music cant be turn oof it keeps comming back i like old school call of duty simply and effective
-
Apr 6, 2013I tried it on the free week on steam.-_-. worst game ever in my library...There can only one sniper in each team, why? My grandmother throws bigger than these soldiers in the game
-
Apr 3, 2013This game is very overrated. Lots of bugs, AI dumb as f*ck (some campaign levels are done by yourself, bots just roam around and die), more bugs, unpolished graphics.. Don't worth buying.

Jun 9, 2014This game really works for me. Exactly how I like my FPS games. It's hard, you need to play smart, you will get frustrated and probably rage quit a couple of times in the beginning, but when you get the hang of it, it's just awesome and rewarding.
Room for improvement: graphics update would be awesome. Destructible environment. -
Apr 30, 2014Red Orchestra is a fun game you have to have patience and tactics it is not Call of Duty. I would recommend it to every one that has a computer powerful enough to handle it.

May 10, 2013I fell in love at first launch!. Its real oldschool FPS, this game requires skill your brain is the primary weapon! Community of this game is pretty awesome. Developers still supporting this game. Maps for free, game is open for create custom maps. Awesome. Game use UE3 engine graphic is really good no reservations. Deserved 9!

Aug 2, 2013Extremely realistic and fun WW2 shooter! Highly recommended! Set in the eastern front, red orchestra is both original and enjoyable, not easy to pull off these days!
-
May 8, 2013One of the best games I've ever played. The realism and the gameplay elements are the most unique I've seen in a game in a long time. Although it has it's low points, it is still a great tactical shooter worthy of those tired of the Call of Duty and Halo world we live in now.
-
Jun 5, 2013You'd better get Invasion 1944 mod for Arma 2: Combined Operations. It has everything RO2 does not great scale, realistic tracked vehicles with appropriate armor damage system, great ballistics, nice maps, planes (civ and combat), gliders and so on. Everything for FREE.
-
Aug 1, 2013Great game, historically accurate, unlike CoH2. It's not complete like Company Of Heroes 2, the multiplayer reminds me of the days when Cod was actually a good game. Great game overall

Aug 19, 2013I've played my fair share of shooters: Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Halo, Crysis, Planetside, and Counter Strike. Red Orchestra 2 is undoubtedly the best I have ever played. It has a tough learning curve but is a perfect blend of realism and just plain fun.
-
Sep 11, 2013Realistic, fun and durable. With the continuous support from its development team, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad has become one of the best multiplayer shooter setted in WW2.
-
Dec 26, 2015A game where you can snipe better with a machine gun than you can with an actual sniper rifle.
10/10 would snipe with an MG42 again.
Aside from that it's a good game for the most part, so much better than other FPS games. -
Aug 31, 2013Best Hardcore FPS Shooter ever!In this prodject of Tripwire have a really big future! One of a best multiplayer FPS in present on Steam.Epic game for everyone who likes FPS(not even in WW2 setting).
-
-
Oct 2, 2013RO2 is not a COD or BF clone. It is a unmatched game that actually requires skill and not hacks. This is also the game with the best graphics out of all that uses the Unreal 3, Must buy for evryone that wants a FPS that requires skill, PERIOD. Also, everyone who is giving this game a 0 is a pathetic COD fanboy who cannot play a game except for MW3 properly.
-
Sep 13, 2013Amazing game, has great game play, awesome cover system, constant updates, and is just really cool to play. Now, for only $10, I don't see why you wouldn't get this game! If you like WWII games at all, get this game!
-
Sep 27, 2013Best WWII FPS Ive played after Ro1 & Mohaa, CoD2 nostalgia...
The game had some bugs in early stages but after patches theyve fixed many bugs, now it rocks especially with new FREE maps... -
Oct 29, 2013This game at release was a disappointing mess Bugs everywhere, only 10 maps, only 2 tanks, missing some of the best features of the first game, but now that the game is out for awhile and it has been patched and maps have been added it has gotten a lot better and is the best ww2 shooter to come out since the first red orchestra, but sadly still doesnt live up to Red orchestra ostfront

Apr 24, 2014RO2 is an underrated masterpiece. It's what COD wants to be. It's realistic, it's fun. It may be challenging but that does not mean that the game is bad. It has a 7.2 user score (when I reviewed this, that was the score), but it should be higher. I recommend this game for someone who would love a realistic FPS.

Apr 4, 2014This game is a must buy, I prefer this to any other FPS games. The experience of a match is just so exhilarating, you will want to play more!
At first I thought it was a bit buggy but when I got a feel for the game I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys FPS's. -

Sep 30, 2014I think this is the best WW2 shooter I have ever played. I love the way the maps can play out and the way you can interact with the environment and your weapon. the game is unfortunately marred by some unfortunate bugs and issues like laggy servers and melee combat can be a little annoying. The campaign is impossible but the multi player is good.
-
Mar 29, 2015Ein fast perfektes WW2 Spiel.
Sehr gutes Kriegsfeeling. -

Mar 13, 2016If you prefer realism to arcade, then this is probably a game that you'd like. The games can last for up to 45 minutes, you will die from one shot to the torso and you will be put in impossible situations. You need to know the tactics required for the map, and then you can get the oh so rewarding kills on the enemy.
-
Oct 16, 2016Get this game.
The sheer level of detail in this game makes this so much fun to play, and my only complaint would be the sheer lack of community nowadays. But if you want to get this, do it. I'm begging you, for the good of your mental state, do it. -

Jan 5, 2019Good pretty and cheap. immersive, and addictive atmosphere, if it's your first time and you come from other shooters, be patient, it's hard to make yourself playable because it is more strategic than frantic.
It has a good range of weapons, which are included within specific roles that you have to perform according to what you choose. -

Nov 27, 2011The basic fact is that Red Orchestra 2 spoils you. Playing any other shooter, especially one that claims to be realistic, after going through a few rounds in RO2 is bound to be a disappointment.
-
Nov 22, 2011The multiplayer of Red Orchestra 2 offers various interesting debate points about the realistic online shooter breed: praised by many, played by few. Forgetting some bugs and the (hopefully) soon to be addressed performance hiccups, Red Orchestra 2 is definitely an entertaining product that, online-wise, will guarantee months of brutal fun.
-
Nov 17, 2011If you think both Battlefield and Call of Duty are too exaggerated and unrealistic, and feel Counter-Strike is too soft, Red Orchestra 2 might be the game for you. It doesn't appeal to us, though.
