Jan 5, 2019Good pretty and cheap. immersive, and addictive atmosphere, if it's your first time and you come from other shooters, be patient, it's hard to make yourself playable because it is more strategic than frantic.
It has a good range of weapons, which are included within specific roles that you have to perform according to what you choose. -

Oct 16, 2016Get this game.
The sheer level of detail in this game makes this so much fun to play, and my only complaint would be the sheer lack of community nowadays. But if you want to get this, do it. I'm begging you, for the good of your mental state, do it. -

Mar 13, 2016If you prefer realism to arcade, then this is probably a game that you'd like. The games can last for up to 45 minutes, you will die from one shot to the torso and you will be put in impossible situations. You need to know the tactics required for the map, and then you can get the oh so rewarding kills on the enemy.

Dec 26, 2015A game where you can snipe better with a machine gun than you can with an actual sniper rifle.
10/10 would snipe with an MG42 again.
Aside from that it's a good game for the most part, so much better than other FPS games. -
Mar 29, 2015Ein fast perfektes WW2 Spiel.
Sehr gutes Kriegsfeeling. -

Jun 9, 2014This game really works for me. Exactly how I like my FPS games. It's hard, you need to play smart, you will get frustrated and probably rage quit a couple of times in the beginning, but when you get the hang of it, it's just awesome and rewarding.
Room for improvement: graphics update would be awesome. Destructible environment. -

May 8, 2014I don't think you'll find a more enjoyable shooter. The realism of battle, the confusion, the historical accuracy; it all amounts to an amazing experience.

Apr 30, 2014Red Orchestra is a fun game you have to have patience and tactics it is not Call of Duty. I would recommend it to every one that has a computer powerful enough to handle it.
-
Apr 25, 2014Simply one of the best tactical shooters out there, emphasis on teamwork is core though individual skill with the class you are using is essential, not a fast paced arcade shooter like more renowned BF and CoD, but this is what makes it gripping, for the good and bad moments.

Apr 24, 2014RO2 is an underrated masterpiece. It's what COD wants to be. It's realistic, it's fun. It may be challenging but that does not mean that the game is bad. It has a 7.2 user score (when I reviewed this, that was the score), but it should be higher. I recommend this game for someone who would love a realistic FPS.

Apr 4, 2014This game is a must buy, I prefer this to any other FPS games. The experience of a match is just so exhilarating, you will want to play more!
At first I thought it was a bit buggy but when I got a feel for the game I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys FPS's. -

Nov 25, 2013Great realistic world war 2 shooter and great maps and single player modes the bayonet attachments are great and added more atmosphere to the game... game of the year
-
Nov 23, 2013Ignore the bad reviews. They patched out the all the gamebreaking bugs, and people who same the gameplay is bad arnt playing it right. The graphics are fantastic, sound is great, and the shooting feels literally perfect. Buy rising storm because it gives you all of this master piece's multiplayer.

Oct 29, 2013This game at release was a disappointing mess Bugs everywhere, only 10 maps, only 2 tanks, missing some of the best features of the first game, but now that the game is out for awhile and it has been patched and maps have been added it has gotten a lot better and is the best ww2 shooter to come out since the first red orchestra, but sadly still doesnt live up to Red orchestra ostfront
-
Oct 9, 2013I did the first review of this game a few days after release and it was devastating. Today there are still some issues left and we didn't receive everything that was promised by TWI. Several major parts are missing that could really improve the game like vehicles, more tanks, a friendship system, customizing options and actual destructible environment.

Nov 27, 2011The basic fact is that Red Orchestra 2 spoils you. Playing any other shooter, especially one that claims to be realistic, after going through a few rounds in RO2 is bound to be a disappointment.
-
Nov 22, 2011The multiplayer of Red Orchestra 2 offers various interesting debate points about the realistic online shooter breed: praised by many, played by few. Forgetting some bugs and the (hopefully) soon to be addressed performance hiccups, Red Orchestra 2 is definitely an entertaining product that, online-wise, will guarantee months of brutal fun.
-
Nov 17, 2011If you think both Battlefield and Call of Duty are too exaggerated and unrealistic, and feel Counter-Strike is too soft, Red Orchestra 2 might be the game for you. It doesn't appeal to us, though.
