    Amazing game. One of if not the best multiplayer shooter of all time. Has Doomguy, Ranger, Bitterman and lots of other playable characters, multiplayer with bots. Back when companies cared about their games and not the in-game purchases or microtransactions.

    **** all over games like COD and Fortnite

    Multiplayer-influenced games don't go higher than 8. This game is the best at it. Has little single player replay value, given some maps are so crappy to play, which were later on modified in Quake Live for better.     Kickass music, smooth controls, fantastic action, Quake III is basically an adrenaline rush from the moment you start playing to the end, a game that is filled to the brim with joyful memories.

    Great game. I still remember the Quake III tournaments that we played in his time. Hilarious among colleagues. A classic of shooters games.

    All time classic FPS Arena.
    Cool variety of weapons, maps and gamemodes.
    Even if the only played are FFA, CTF and Freeze.

    This game is one of the greatest game ever made .
    game include no story mod ok i am also one of thoose wich prefer stories
    but this game dose not need it thats the point of it just grab your damn gun and kill them all.

    Quake III Arena + Unreal Tournament were best FPS competitive games in that year and also for next years. They were also main graphic benchmarks and revolution engines used in many other games. This games are great to these days and still alive even it is 19 years now!!!
    Legendary FPS. Nearly perfect.

    Quake iii Arena; Es un juego muy entretenido, con buena banda sonora, la jugabilidada es como cualquier shotter pero mas rapido y algo mas intenso de la epoca en la que salio.
    La verdad que cuando era mas pequeño lo disfrutaba bastante jugar con los amigos y contra la maquita también era algo entretenido.
    Graficamente esta pasable y el resto esta muy bueno un 9 papus 7u7

    Le mode "solo" n'a pas vraiment d'intérêt si ce n'est pour se faire la main sur des bots idiots mais le multi est encore ce qui se fait de mieux aujourd'hui. A l'époque, j'y ai passé un certain temps en LAN et j'en ai un très bon souvenir.

    Le jeu était bien évidemment une claque graphique, Id oblige.     FPS don't get any better than this. This is what the genre is meant to be. Speed, strafe-jumps, different weapons, fast action, and not hiding next to a box for 10 hours waiting for your chance to one-shot someone.

    Quake III Arena is a really fun game, FPS quite old, but manages to be quite funny to play. The game lacks a story in itself, but the gameplay makes the whole game.

    I think this was last perfect game from ID Soft. Spent thousands hours on this one, e-sport perfect, this game was really a joy to watch and play and i still play it from time to time and have lots of fun witch it.

    One of the best shooter deathmatch games of it's time... and some would say beyond its time. This game is responsible for many an all-nighter with friends at LAN parties. Always a party favorite.

    The single player aspect would get a 7 or a 6 just because. I just don't think this game works as well with bots as it would online.

    That being said, the single player is decent, and can be quite fun, but there's times where it's quite frustrating. Reason being is hunting down someone to blast them away can take a while, especially if you're unfamliar with maps, weapon locations, etc.    The single player aspect would get a 7 or a 6 just because.     The weapons themselfs were good, except the machine gun. Horrid starting weapon. But then again, it is just a starting weapon. I never got used to the Rail Gun either, but that's probably because I don't use it much. The classic Quake/Doom guns are present, with a shotgun, rocket launcher, Grenade Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Rail Gun, and BFG 10K, including powerups. Most of the time, I didn't really find myself cursing that I was only able to get certain weapons...well except the Rail Gun, but then again, I was never that good at using it.

    Gonna go play online sometime. I'm pretty sure it's a blast to play online against others, especially since there's mods and custom games and much more.    … Expand

The game itself should be 7- (6.85), but since the game is open (perfect multiplayer), epic and should be the "Follow-this-game-model", I gave it a 7.5. Graphics 6.65 Plot NULL Longevity 7 Gameplay 7 GLOBAL SCORE: 6.88. One of the best FPSs (and probably one of the best games), among with Warsow and Quake.     A great game for allmost anything, Quake 3 may have lost some of its community but it still is addicting and fun to play and is still defining online shooters to this day.
