Apr 6, 2015After 9 hours of gameplay, I realized that the game really do offer something innovative. This game is like, pac pac, and nothing else happens throughout the game. Maybe only small issue, but nothing wow. The game is not as fun as the previous ones.

GRFeb 5, 2007A flawed game, with moments of brilliance. The game is let down by the poorly designed vehicle sections and some overly difficult areas. However, it's oozing cinematic flair, thanks largely to superb voice acting, and has a lovely plethora of weapons to create hell with, so it's not all bad. Just be expected to be clicking that quickload button quite a bit towards the end of the game.

Aug 6, 2018Quake 4 is great oldschool shooter. It doesn't bring anything new to the table, but it is solid craftsmanship done by the masters of FPS genre.

Very boring first person shooter with stupid enemies, boring weapons and only a few good levels. It's one of the games you never play a second time. Many levels lack details and feel somewhat unfinished. The difficulty level is not constant. there are several unfair situations that can get newbies into trouble.
If you want a good game with detailed levels and creepy enemies, buy Doom 3. -

Jan 26, 2023Apesar de ser antigo, ainda é um bom shooter pra aqueles que curtem jogar games antigos.
Me lembrou um pouco a gameplay de FEAR. -
BlackHoodNov 14, 2005Nice Game, ran fine in XP64 with AMD64-3000 (1800) 1 gig ram, it's a one time player. took me under 20 hours to beat, sadly. obv with punkbuster and the new engine, if your into multiplayer then get this game.

Feb 13, 2018Это уже не парни из ID во главе с Кармакам, и к сожалению, это заметно с первых минут игры. Посредственно.

Dec 12, 2020I think i was too much fondled with the fast gameplay of Q3A and UT that this game simply felt slow and boring. And it does not make me want to go back for some reason either. Its not a bad game but i wouldnt call it a good game either. You forget it very fast.

Sep 2, 2022Quake 4 is a perfectly competent shooter that somehow suffers from identity crisis.

Apr 14, 2015this game let me down the chart and good until I hate and the cd-key used code and found incorrect The history and more or less bad enemies many veteran in Easy mode seems the easy way disappointing game

Nov 19, 2019Game was released after DOOM 3 which was better game for me
Even so, game was still good to play, with unique atmosphere and lots of gunplay.
But also weakest Quake game I ever played. -
Jun 25, 2020A more mediocre and boring Doom 3, i don´t even know how you make a Quake game that is just boring. And to be honest why would i reccomend Quake 4 if there are better games out there with the same theme as this one?

May 26, 2022Очень интересно как низко пал дум 3 и как туда же навернулся кваке 4 совпадение не думаю
-
Dec 13, 2022It does not suit to the Quake franchise in my humble opinion. However worth to play.

-
The single player campaign uses the old school twitch shooter style that is still enjoyable, but gets repetitive and is ultimately unsatisfying in these days of more sophisticated shooters.
-
In terms of multiplayer, we’re still trying to figure out what went wrong in that process, because Quake III ruled in that department.

I had a ton of fun playing Quake 4, and while the game started off kind of slow, it picked up quickly and wound up being a solid, action-packed experience without the dreaded "realistic" limitations on combat that so many recent games put on the player.
