If you enjoy the idea of engaging covert-ops missions that require stealth and smarts more than sheer brawn, you'll love IGI.
-
It might not set a record for longevity on your hard drive, but like a good novel, it grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go until its thrilling conclusion.
-
I, personally liked the game, and I wasn't that bothered by not being able to save games (He's a lying bastard! He was bitching and moaning all the time - AT Ed).
-
With no difficulty options there is little extra challenge to be had once youve finished the game and with no multiplayer, its lifespan is limited but for a tour de force in stealth and tactics, it beats Delta Force into a cocked hat.
-
I had a few bad experiences with this game but let me tell you this - as soon as I am done typing this, you guessed it - I'm Going In. I think you should too.
-
A must-have purchase for any action gaming fan, and is a testament to what can still be done with the genre with the proper amount of thought.
-
Da GameboyzIt is by no means finished, but I eagerly await future games from them.
-
The AI isn't awful enough to really bother me. The lack of save feature is annoying. The graphics and sound are pleasant, and the gameplay works.
-
As a single-player shooter with a traditional progressive mission structure set in realistic and memorable environments, Project IGI is a fun, if flawed, action game.
-
GamePowerIf you can overlook its two "problems," you may find Project IGI one of the most engaging tactical-combat games of the year.
-
I reallllly wish I could recommend this game. It's a quality game in almost every respect...but the save flaw is just too big.
-
Spank!Boasting value for money gameplay, a tight cohesive storyline and a gorgeously realistic setting this is a game that demands to be played.
-
After spending a week tiring of this title's company, memories of the countless frustrations encountered are also taken away from the affair.
-
Cool things like being able to shoot through wood, having cool binoculars that point out enemies and a satellite map of the area that will let you plan your mission out better just don't make up for the lack of fun.
-
CNET GamecenterDespite its flaws and little imperfections, it still manages to deliver a fun gaming experience...though we can't help but feel that it's missing something...(multiplayer).
-
With an incredibly stupid AI, decent graphics, poor voiceovers and a rather tiresome gameplay model, we weren't too impressed with Project IGI.
-
Had it included a mid-mission save and a multiplayer mode, it could have been a solid four star title; add tweaked graphics and improved AI, and it would have been a surefire winner. However, without those features, Project IGI is a good game, but certainly not a great one.
-
It's not a bad game; but with better AI and a few simple options (such as the ability to choose your equipment before a mission, or a "save anywhere" feature), it might have more to recommend it.
-
Even with 14 missions, the gameplay is bland and repetitive, and with no multi-player options, there's really no point in "going in" at all.
-
In the crowded first-person genre, this one barely makes the grade.
-
Daily RadarWhat should or could have been a cool, sneaky shooter devolves into a series of tedious levels, severely aliased graphics and some of the stupidest, ugliest enemies we've seen this side of "Delta Force: Land Warrior."
