I was hoping for the fun of TOCA but with a storyline. The storyline is there, but the fun racing certainly is not.

w/ATI9700 outstanding overall graphics; in multiplayer w/2 drivers smooth rich movement of all surfaces; nice reflection off the paint job on the cars; OUTSTANDING sound with Audigy 2 including motor wind up's and downshifts, tire squeel, great story draws you in, FF too weak, drive and feel communicated nice.

The graphics are nice, the tracks are real, but the physics of the cars LICK BALLS! with a steering wheel, i was hoping for it to have "simulated" controls, but its actualy much like racing on xbox or ps2 (not GT3).

  1. One of those games that will be remembered years down the road for anyone who plays this fine title.

When you insult your audience by coughing up some of the weakest physics and AI ever coded for a PC racer, then kudos quickly turns into Bronx cheers. [May 2003, p.62]
  3. Pin-sharp sim that's both challenging and forgiving, with a story that's not just bolted on... A true delicacy in a time of relative famine for racing sim fans, but should feature on any gamer's menu. [PC Gamer UK]
