PowerWash Simulator 2 is a strong sequel that expands on the original with a full campaign of 38 enjoyable, stress-relieving levels and some fun interactive surprises. The game adds personality by letting you run your own business, earn miniature rewards, and decorate your office, though this feature isn’t always flawless. Visuals, tools, and mechanics have all been noticeably improved, including better soap functionality and reduced reliance on ladders. Co-op play now includes partial progression and split-screen, making it a must-play for fans of the original.

Powerwash Simulator 2 is an easy sell to those who have never tried the original, and an even easier sell to those who loved it. Relaxing and hypnotic, you’ll lose hours to this game every time you pick up the controller, and you’ll come back time after time for more.

PowerWash Simulator 2 doesn’t pretend to be epic — and that is its greatest strength. It recognizes that there is a quiet joy in the repetitive, in the ritual of cleaning. By polishing its tools, refining its pacing, and offering cooperative progression, it builds a cozy, rewarding sandbox for anyone who appreciates calm, tactile satisfaction over high-octane thrills.

PowerWash Simulator 2 delivers exactly what it promises: an incredibly satisfying game about cleaning dirt with a power washer. It simulates this fantasy well and offers a lot of opportunity to do it in interesting places and with some fun dialogue exchanges during. If you’re asking the game for more than that, you’d be sorely disappointed, but if the title was enough to draw you in or you enjoyed the first game, you’ll likely have a great time with this sequel.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is everything I hoped it would be. It is big, bold, and disgusting. I loved the new levels, fresh ideas, and exciting mechanics. Whether you play it alone, cooperatively, or online, you'll adore it.

It's hard to find a single real flaw in PowerWash Simulator 2's shining armor. It's the perfect lo-fi game to chill out after a hard day's work. While new mechanics are sparsely used, post-launch content will continue to bring on the good times, to be sure.

I have a handful of gripes about PowerWash Simulator 2, but they hardly bring down the experience. It feels like a love letter to all of the fans and the things they’ve asked for over the years, and we end up getting a really neat collection of structures to clean up beside it. If the first PowerWash Simulator was any indicator, we can likely look forward to loads of post-launch content as well. If you’re not into these games, I doubt PowerWash Simulator 2 is going to win you over. But if you hanker for more high-PSI water cleaning, this sequel provides a fantastic set of features and improvements to make it about as enjoyable as can be.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a refinement of a modern comfort classic. Every addition, from the home base to the abseiling harness, feels thoughtfully designed to deepen the relaxation loop rather than distract. It’s bigger and cleaner, but still surprisingly heartfelt. If the first game helped us survive the chaos of 2022, this one feels perfectly timed to help us slow down again in 2025.

If you didn’t enjoy PowerWash Simulator, then PowerWash Simulator 2 is unlikely to win you over. What I find relaxing, you may find laborious. But if you’re someone who enjoys the quiet and meditative experience that the PowerWash Simulator franchise has to offer, you’ll find endless satisfaction here. With the improved missions, streamlined graphics, and various new features, FuturLab has finally perfected its original vision, offering a wonderfully fun gameplay loop that you'll struggle to tear yourself away from.

A great sequel, though if you didn’t like the first game there’s nothing here to change your mind. Except maybe the scissor lift.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a sequel that tweaks or improves nearly every issue from the original game and provides another zen-like simulation experience that might just make your mind wander.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a game that’s definitely suitable for those who want a soothing, relaxing time when playing games. It’s colorful, it’s fun to play, and it gives you a way to unwind after a long day. It doesn’t have challenging gameplay, tons of monsters or a plethora of quests, like many other games do. But don’t get us wrong, it knows very well what it wants to be, and it caters to the right audience for that. The visuals are great, the multiplayer aspect they have here is exceptional, and the game continues to offer interesting places and items for you to clean. It’s, overall, a mesmerizing, very enjoyable and downright fun experience that everyone should try out for themselves. Yes, it might not be for everyone, but those chill gamers looking to unwind will find this their go-to. I can see people spending dozens or even hundreds of hours cleaning stuff, just because PowerWash Simulator 2 is so fulfilling and rewarding.

Personally, with PowerWash Simulator 2, I am excited about the future of the PowerWash franchise. If you look at their freshly released 2025/2026 roadmap you can be excited to see 3 paid IP DLC, 3 free Caldera Chronicle Jobs, and what they claim will be a bucket full of other planned additions coming. They are really giving us more of the game we all fell in love with, and I hope they continue to listen to their community. I highly recommend purchasing this installment if you enjoyed the first game, it will be well worth the investment. Go on, let’s go gnome hunting in PowerWash Simulator 2. If you like cozy, comforting games, it’s one of the best.

There isn’t a ton new about PowerWash Simulator 2, and that is exactly what I wanted. What is improved, from the graphics to the streamlined cleaning processes, makes what was already a serene experience into one of the most chill vibes you can find in gaming.

Powerwash Simulator 2 really has hit at the perfect time once again. Its stress-free gameplay feels so much better to use, especially in ways where you wouldn’t expect improvement.

Better than its predecessor in every way, PowerWash Simulator 2 learns its lessons from its previous installment, offering a fluid experience and more stage variety that makes it the go-to chill gaming experience alone or with friends.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a great sequel to the first game, building upon the already good mechanics and foundation it had and making it doubly better. Better gameplay, improved visuals, QoL improvements—the works. While it does have some lapses, they’re all quite minor and doesn’t detract from the experience. Whether or not this is your first or second PowerWash Simulator game, it’s definitely worth a try.

The first Powerwash Simulator was my guilty pleasure. I spent many hours playing it on the Nintendo Switch. I was so hooked that it almost convinced me that such a job would be something for me in real life. Until I borrowed my in-laws' pressure washer and realized that the simulation is more fun after all. Fortunately, the game now has a formidable successor. The fun of Powerwash Simulator 2 lies in the simplicity of the game. This game is surprisingly satisfying and, above all, a great way to relax. Unfortunately, the sequel is not available on “older consoles” such as the first Nintendo Switch. That's a shame.

Power Washer simulator 2 builds on the first game's addictive simplicity, offering a more polished and visually appealing experience. It takes all the core mechanics and layers on larger, more complex levels that add depth without losing accessibility. Ultimately, it remains a relaxing escape and something that transcends the gaming experience to become something more: an outlet for frustration and your worries.

A delightfully monotonous chore sim that tweaks the original powerwashing formula just enough.

PowerWash Simulator 2 smooths out many of the rough edges of its predecessor to deliver what could be considered the definitive power washing experience, featuring a wide variety of fun and satisfying environments to clean. It remains curiously addictive, though it may feel more like an acquired taste than an essential experience.

While greatly enjoyable on its own, PowerWash Simulator 2 is one of those games that is better together with friends. If you have a buddy in tow, don't hesitate to get washing!

PowerWash Simulator 2 opts for welcome refinements over big advancements, but it's as weirdly compelling and winningly daft as ever.

The result is about the most straightforward but successful sequel you could ask for. It takes the core gameplay of the first game, makes a few additions without changing anything of what people liked, and then just goes about making everything bigger and better. If you liked the first game, this is exactly the sequel you wanted, giving you more of the same while making the experience smoother in the process. You could argue that there was more of an opportunity to innovate, but I’d argue that if fresh ideas are what you’re after, PowerWash Simulator 2 isn’t the place you should be looking – unless you count the fresh smell of soapy water, of course.

The original PowerWash Simulator was my go-to chill out game for the longest time, and I’ve no doubt PowerWash Simulator 2 will fill that some role for quite a while. But this go around I’m also much more drawn to playing it like, well, a video game. There’s just enough new depth here to tease out a bit of strategy and self-imposed challenge, and I’ve enjoyed rising to it – especially when there’s a scissor lift handy.

PowerWash Simulator 2 proves itself a worthy successor, following a strong first game and a wide range of DLC, and offers a whole host of relaxing and enjoyable gameplay. With a few new quirks thrown in to make it more exciting, and a couple of much-needed changes, it’s easy to say that - even with a couple of niggles, some of which are returning frustrations - if you loved the first one, you’ll love the sequel as well.

PowerWash Simulator 2 provides more of what we love with plenty of levels, new equipment, and a lot more soap to go around. While playing on handheld can take some getting used to, performance remains steady, and you can sud and spray to your hearts content no matter where you are. If you like relaxing games, this is for you.

Line up ladies and gentlemen, and see the rare example of a sequel to a special game that knew just what to tweak, and what to leave well enough alone. The meditative motions of cleaning, the silly sense of humor, and the sense of satisfaction. There's enough here to justify slapping a big old 2 on the end of the title, but the key mechanic and feeling of the first game lives on.

PowerWash Simulator 2 isn’t reinventing the wheel. The game knows its audience and is happy to feed their rabid desire for more cleaning. It may not win over any people who were turned off by the original, but if you enjoy dad games and an easy activity while listening to music or videos, then this is exactly what you need in your life.

PowerWash Simulator 2 takes everything good about its predecessor and makes it shinier. New gameplay, equipment, environments, coop play and a home base dynamic will delight fans of the original.

PowerWash Simulator 2 takes the strangely soothing satisfaction of spraying away grime and attempts to refine its meditative qualities. Despite a few messy technical hiccups in co-op, FuturLab’s sequel tunes the original’s formula into an embodiment of “flow,” where each satisfying sweep of water feels like washing the clutter from your own mind.

A simple yet deeply satisfying and relaxing cleaning simulator that expands on the first game with new tools, accessories, and co-op modes, though it adds little innovation and suffers from connectivity issues, repetition, and a lack of real variety.

Powerwash Simulator 2 is precisely what you would expect from the sequel to such a simulation: an evolution that does not alter the unique original gameplay but adds a few details, refines some mechanics and improves the quality of life by offering a new and abundant dose of the same elements. If you loved the first one, you cannot miss this one, but its addictive mechanics could still make unexpected conquests.

PowerWash Simulator 2, as a sequel to the original, doesn't disappoint, but it doesn't blow you away either. It brings more or less the same thing with new scenes and a few improvements. It's still the original relaxing game without stress and with a lot of work.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a very specific kind of game that will appeal to a very specific kind of audience. If you’re the kind of person who spends your evenings watching videos of things being cleaned or organized, you’ll likely enjoy an interactive version of that. However, if you prefer your action heavy or your systems robust, you might find yourself bored or restless. Though I fall more into that latter category, I felt an undeniable satisfaction each time I completed a job, which serves as a highlight to the overall package.

PowerWash Sim originally owed a lot of its success to the pandemic. It was an awesome hangout game at a time when everyone was just sort of... hanging out. PowerWash Sim 2 arrives in a different world than its predecessor, though the gameplay at the heart of the series is essentially timeless; it's a lot of fun even without a pandemic forcing us into taking fake jobs for fake money. Before the end of the game, I was looking to change careers, but there will surely be times in the future when I'm itching to get back to it, too. Maybe PowerWash Simulator 2 is best approached as a game where you're your own boss, working on your own schedule. If you can avoid burnout and work as a team with a few friends, it's a good gig.

  1. More often you'll be gently ribbed by levels that reference the first game. The aforementioned shooting gallery's targets are effigies of the flying saucer, the monolith, and the briefly-erupting volcano from which you and they saved Muckingham. I very much enjoyed this, but I can imagine it has smaller returns if you didn't play the first game. The same is true of all those small changes I liked. But at the same time, if you didn't play PowerWash Simulator, you'll just come to PowerWash Simulator 2 as the best damn version of a game where you slowly waterblast crud off a toilet you ever did see. Not much to complain about there.
