Final boss, not so braindead to kill. Nice weapon additions. And the zombies are quite an adversary, but it turns out as too lineal. No free-roam like the original Postal 2, making it quite less than it could have been. And it appears to be shorter in terms of play time. Wait for the bargain bin, then make sure you pick it.

  1. It’s a mild diversion when it works, crude and shoddy the rest of the time. The game’s fate is sealed by a simple realization: you need Postal 2 to play it. Movies like "Plan 9 From Outer Space," at least, don’t require a copy of "Glen or Glenda" to watch them.

With smartly designed levels and a variety of tasks, there are much worse ways to spend a weekend. Don't expect the trimmings of a big-budget title, but it's a bloody, twisted good time to those who are neither squeamish nor easily offended.

The problem with Apocalypse Weekend is that it lacks the cleverness and thoughtful execution that made the original worth laughs. [Oct 2005, p.72]
