    The puzzles in this game are perfect. They are head-scratching but never frustrating. I think the difficulty level is perfect, and the tone of the game is perfect, with witty dialogue and a lonely tone.     I don't have much to say other than praise. It's so intrinsic and fun to play with other people, and solo isn't boring. The fact that there is a puzzle game that doesn't feel like the slowest game in the world is a testament to how great this game is.

    It's a game that doesn't have that much variety, but never does it squander your enjoyment. I wish there was ever-so-slightly more, but this is as nearly perfect as a game can get.    … Expand

    Portal 2 takes everything that was great about the original Portal and multiplies it by 10. Better puzzles, tighter story, better graphics, a co-op mode and so much more. I really like how fleshed out the story is here as opposed to what came before it.

    In my opinion, Portal 1 is more well defined. Portal 2 is almost more of the same you find on the first one but with a new character that gives the game a more "funny" twist. If you loved Portal 1, the second release is mandatory.

    This is my all time favorite video game. Everywhere and always. I'm shocked by the gigantism of these levels. I am amazed by the drama of the solo performances of the characters.
    Puzzles just got a little easier. But much more varied. And they added an amazing co-op to the game.

    I think all Valve single-player games are brilliant, but this one is my favorite of all of them. Everything about it is great: story, soundtrack, unique game play, jokes, Easter eggs. Its lore is awesomely interesting.

    Kept the same incredible creativity of the first game, added some new mechanics for puzzles and the plot was intriguing like the first game as well. Also, I loved the interactions between the characters, there were so fun. Absolutely recommended, one of the best puzzle games out there.

    But thats kind of a flaw, you can play this once, and then never touch it again

This game has so much in its package: more lore, more puzzling, more exploring, so much more mysteries to be solved, just SO MANY MORE THINGS, in one package!     Over a decade later and this game hasn't aged a bit. Brilliant design and expands the concept of the original to incredible new heights, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of the story. The game is a bit too linear in my opinion, but I understand that that's kind of the point, I just wish the player had a bit more of an influence in the direction of the story.     This is easily a top 2 puzzle game of all time, and it certainly isn't in second place. The game design is flawless from start to finish, while the story is the funniest that has ever been told in the video game medium, all thanks to impeccable writing and passionate voice actors.

The grahpics are amazing paired with great performance. I don't know how valve did it but they did it. The content are endless.     Being a newer gamer - last several years. There are few games that I go back for, but this one had so much critical praise I had to try it. At first I just thought it was a puzzle game and that is all, but after continuing to play the story unraveled and the game took off! Really understand why everyone rates this so highly and I had a blast playing it.

    The best I have ever played, and not an exaggeration at all. The singeplayer has a phenomenal story and characters, and the co-operative is extremely fun. And when you're done with both campaigns, you have infinite content through the workshop (if you look hard enough). The music as well is also really good, and a hidden gem. If you have not played this game yet, what are you doing with your life?

    An excellent sequel to the original Portal, with a good sense of humor and entertaining puzzles. However, it abuses a bit of the last resource and in the final stretch it gets a bit repetitive.

Il ritorno di GLaDOS e il nuovo nemico non sono fuori luogo per un minimo e nel complesso aggiungono tutta la lore e la difficoltà che al primo forse mancavano.     I love the adaptive music, dialogue, story, new mechanics, puzzles, smother frame rate, lore, and the ending. My favorite part of the game is chapter 6-7. It looks so damn good, and I love how It explains so much stuff that happened to Aperature laboratories, Cave Johnson, and Caroline. Anyways the music in this game fit so perfectly!     Really fantastic game, takes the infinitley fun mechanics of the first game and enhances on them ten fold. The puzzles are incredibly fun due to these new mechanics. The story is also really interesting and engaging despite having only three characters. I could not recommend it more :)

    Pule y perfecciona todo lo visto en el primero, la duración, la complejidad y variedad de pruebas, la progresión, todo...
    El modo cooperativo alarga más el juego y es una experiencia inigualable para tener con alguien. Aparte en PC hay niveles hechos por la comunidad. Juego muy completo y resiste el paso del tiempo como pocos

    I played both single-player and co-op mode, and I really like the idea. What you essentially do is to solve puzzles, but portals feel very smooth and you appreciate the physics engine while playing.

    10/10 would ruin my friend's portals again to get him killed.

    Why does this game get so many 10/10 ratings? I honestly don't know.
    Good graphics, ok humor, good sound.
    Sadly, the puzzles get boring very quickly, and puzzles are the main part of the game. I was glad it was over.

    Almost as good as the first one. Main reasons are lack of cake, unfunny Wheatley and slightly boring one-solution middle-levels. Otherwise Portal 2 is as clever as it is well written. And now Half-Life 2: Ep 3, please. [May 2011]

    The graphics may not be of the same caliber of other AAA titles, and the story may falter from time to time, but those are paltry excuses not to experience one of the best current generation games around.
