    Very good game! It inmerses you to the history can't wait for part 2! also very good optimized i played on intel hd 4400 with an i5 4200u and i got solid 50-60 fps on very low preset and 20-30 fps on normal!

    One of the best horror games of the year, the only bad thing about it is that it is only one chapter for now. It's time to wait for the second chapter.

    Es muy buen juego,con una historia muy entretenida,una jugabilidad fantastica en el caso de los puzzles unos graficos muy bien trabajados,un juego muy pulido.

    Do not listen to any of the bad reviews, it’s just people who are way too tied up with the controversies or people who are just salty because chapter 1 went free. It’s a really good puzzle/horror game shining with quality, the animations and graphics are spot on! If you played Bendy and The Ink Machine before, this is the game for you!

    Good game but game is very short and the game have some bug.the game is not a horror genre but interspersed with puzzle density a little bit of horror to me

    Poppy playtime is the best game ever made. This game is way better than Mario galaxy and the legend of zelda breath of the wild.

    I looked at all the reviews so you don’t have to. Well I can say that they all do not give solid reasons to rate this game. First of all there are people who rate it bad due to controversies which has been cleared up. Second is most of the reviews are bad because the game is a demo and has 20 minutes worth of game play. Well it is supposed to be a taste of what to come. No demo is perfectI looked at all the reviews so you don’t have to. Well I can say that they all do not give solid reasons to rate this game. Well it is supposed to be a taste of what to come. No demo is perfect or long so people who rate the game poor because it is short clearly do not know how to rate. The second chapter got releases recently and it has an hour and more game play to it. It also can quite give you the scare. People should play both chapters before reviewing or wait until the game is done.… Expand

    I think its nice game and good touching on horror part.. but
    I really felt motion sickness while playing the game.
    I cleared the entire first part though.

    This game is very well made and the idea of a life toy is very creative *Its kinda a fnaf clone but its not really a fnaf clone*. The game is pritty short and most of the time playing the game is you just waiting which isnt really that fun but i personally think its ok. The game is very creative and i played it for 20 hours already. I would give it a 9 but the waiting times are way to long.

    I don’t really get the hate for this game, I thought it was alright. I can see why others find the company questionable but so far it’s got some decent gameplay and impressive visuals.

The opening is fairly ambiguous, featuring a toy commercial for a sort of artificial life enhanced doll from a toy company dead set on creating extremely creepy toysAn intriguing puzzle-premise buried behind a clumsy rigid horror backdrop, "Poppy Playtime," certainly has some good things going for it, but how much to differentiate itself from other recent horror title remain to be seen. The opening is fairly ambiguous, featuring a toy commercial for a sort of artificial life enhanced doll from a toy company dead set on creating extremely creepy toys that no child would ever buy. Once you jump in you arrive at a fairly dilapidated toy factory/ museum that functions like no real location ever would with a sort of backpack contraption with stretchy hands that can grab onto surface, object, connect live wires, etc. This central core to game play allows you to manipulate certain objects to solve puzzles, but as far I know, grabbing buttons to wrap your fake stretchy toy arms around comically large electric poles is not only non-sensical, but a huge waste of company resources. No wonder they shut down!

    Since the initial episode is rather short, and features a particularly fuzzy wuzzy toy coming after you towards the end in a somewhat contrived chase sequence, it hard to get a full picture of what this will eventually turn into- though I hope its something interesting. The general performance is a bit of a blunder though and even on a 2080ti I could see periodic framedrops even when nothing was really going on. The sound design is also a bit lacking, but the general aesthetic and music are fairly chilling.    … Expand

    É um bom jogo, pelo menos se importou em inovar um pouco no gênero de terror. Bom, as cenas de terror mesmo são ótimas, mas é algo muito scriptado, o que é meio desanimador em um jogo com essa proposta, mas até aí tudo bem. Entretanto, a parte dos puzzles é muito maçante, longa e desnecessária.

    a complete cash grab and a shady marketing scheme. and the chapters will also cost money. and right now chapter two is selling for $10 for about two hours of game play, most of which is simply boring and repetitive. not two mention the shady developers of the game. I don't recommend it

I'm not letting the various controversies surrounding MOBgames cloud my opinion, and I still dont like this game. now, the first chapter was amazing, it had a fantastic atmosphere but was way too short, but when Poppy herself actually started speaking, I was concerned. the isolation of chapter 1 is whatis it even possible for a good game to ruin itself quicker than poppy playtime did? I'm not letting the various controversies surrounding MOBgames cloud my opinion, and I still dont like this game. now, the first chapter was amazing, it had a fantastic atmosphere but was way too short, but when Poppy herself actually started speaking, I was concerned. the isolation of chapter 1 is what made it work, but chapter 2 just throws all of that out of the window as Mommy long legs and Poppy speak and completely remove the great atmosphere of chapter 1, and not just that, it's kind of sad that indie horror games today can't even swear because they're taylered towards children. the genre showed so much promise with games like BATIM and Tattletail being fantastic, this game represents everything wrong with modern indie horror. and eventually it just kind of starts to do whatever the other indie horror icons do and doesn't try anything new. hell, it even copies from itself at points. I might be reviewing this too early since only 2 chapters are out, but it seems like this game is going down the same hole as hello neighbor, since a spinoff was released before the main game was even close to being finished. if the next chapters are as great as chapter 1, I will remove this review, but as it stands, this is my actual least favorite horror game ever (Secret Neighbor doesn't count because it's just flat out not a horror game)… Expand

    Mascot horror dominates the video game industry, but this game takes the cake with its unique use of the trend. The game effectively uses its strong points to its advantage to bring fear into players. Instead of using jumpscares to create fear, it builds tension to spook the player. It creates an illusion of being safe when in reality, the danger is still lurking within. As this is the first chapter, it is relatively short, only ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the player. Even with its short time frame, it packs an impressive punch into what's to come into future chapters. Poppy Playtime could easily be one of the best indie games released this year from its production quality and effective use of scares.
