MatG.Dec 29, 2001I give this game a ten because I have been playing it for a month and haven't gotten bored of it yet. I'm on my third way through if beating it, and it's still exciting as when I first played it.

Nov 1, 2012Problems are aplenty, (lack of story and npcs in general, clunky interface and so on) but that sweet turn based d&d tactical awesomeness added a lot of depth to simple "me vs. zombie nr. 135 and Co." scenarios and pretty much outweighed all those flaws for me.

Jan 25, 2012This is one of the best RPG games ever, don't buy into the reviews.
There are no bugs at all, This game is one of my favorites of all times.

MarkE.Nov 1, 2001Too slow and repetitive. The storyline, poor as it already is, gets too often fracturated by the uninspired fight system. It's a pity actually. It could have been something interesting.

JohnFeb 8, 2002This game is garbage compared to the past 3-4 D&D games put out with the infinity bioware engine by Black Isle (Baldur's Gate I&II and Icewind Dale). It is slow, boring, and has a very cumbersome interface.

LeifOct 13, 2002I am a dedicated AD&D fan from the 80's, I like the game enough to play it addictively, however the gameplay is often tedious and I think it had much more potential than it realised, which is a great shame...

JoeG.Oct 19, 2002The game just did not have much of a story line yet if your into the bashing in and killing, then this is your game.

PieterdeF.Jan 31, 2002It's not a bad game, not a very good one either but overall it's ok.

J.JohnsonFeb 19, 2002Uninspired D&D knockoff. Once you get past the intial pains of the firsts dungeons the game does have some twists worth playing.

Apr 6, 2020I have to say I am enjoying this 19 year old game. While its doesn't have the best graphics and the controls leave a lot to be desired its is fairly easy to play once you understand them.

Too much turn-based combat to be fun.
-
Most significantly, Ruins of Myth Drannor does not accomplish the depth of story, the detail of character customization, or the engulfing campaign world that made the original Pool of Radiance such a memorable adventure.
-
The only thing preventing me from scoring this graphics masterpiece in the 90s was the somewhat weak storyline and the tedium that got me down on more then one occasion.
