Dec 20, 2010The game is only $5. If you're a fan of the games or comics these guys are from, you'll have a great laugh while watching the game unfold.

Jan 26, 2011No matter if gamers are a fan of casual PC/Mac poker of just looking for an easy way to score some Team Fortress 2 item upgrades, Poker Night at the Inventory is a great bargain that also happens to be a very good poker game with a most unusual collection of card competitors.
-
Jan 7, 2011It's fun, it's cheap, and it gets you Team Fortress 2 upgrades while letting you play poker against a bunch of fun characters. It's a good game, even if you don't play TF2. The controls aren't great and the poker isn't the best, but it's still a hoot.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 15, 2011Popular game of poker mixed up with memorable games-related characters could look stupid at first sight, but it works surprisingly well, even if you are a newbie to high stake games. [Issue#199]
-
Dec 20, 2010It may not be the best poker game out there, but it is definitely the funniest.
-
PC GamerJan 7, 2011Poker Night is weak on the fundamentals of card playing, but it's worthwhile for several hours of comedy dialog. [Feb 2011, p.78]
-
games(TM)Jan 4, 2011If you're going to play a simulation of something so easily done in the real world, then you might as well do it in the company of the funniest characters in gaming. [Issue#104, p.117]
-
Dec 20, 2010Poker Night at the Inventory continues Telltale's tradition of offering games that deliver a great story. You'll come for the cheap poker mechanic and stay for the humourous banter.
-
Dec 20, 2010It's a nice little and funny game for fans of Sam & Max, Team Fortress, Penny Arcade or Home Star Runner, but it's a bad poker game. Medium difficulty is too easy and in hard mode the game seems to cheat.
-
Dec 20, 2010On one hand, the game has energy provided from the fun conversations taking place at the table. And you definitely get more than $5 worth out of that alone. What kills Telltale's latest game is that, really, there's not enough diversity to keep people coming back ... at least not for more than a game or two when you're bored and have nothing else to do.
-
Dec 20, 2010Playing cards with some talkative favorite characters is great ... for about the first 30 minutes.
