    It's a shame that such a fun concept landed in the hands of what must be the worst developer team for FPS games of the 21st century. This rotten, lag fest is barely functional, despite being in alpha for ages and having incredible amounts of money thrown at it. version 1.0 is somehow less stable than its own test servers were 2 weeks before during alpha, and it was never stable then.It's a shame that such a fun concept landed in the hands of what must be the worst developer team for FPS games of the 21st century. This rotten, lag fest is barely functional, despite being in alpha for ages and having incredible amounts of money thrown at it. version 1.0 is somehow less stable than its own test servers were 2 weeks before during alpha, and it was never stable then.

    If you're lucky enough that the game actually loads (or the menu for that matter), you will spend the first 10 minutes rubber banding around so badly that you might as well be playing on a 56k dial up modem. If you somehow survive to where the 16 tick rate server starts to recover, a hacker will find and kill you instantly, possibly through a wall.

    How is it acceptable that a competitive FPS game has so many bugs, glitches, poor servers and hackers? But the critics say it's wonderful - WTF?

    Don't waste your money on this garbage, if you must burn ~$30 go buy a brick and smash your head repeatedly, it's more fun.    … Expand

    I didn't understood the hype but I gave it a try anyway. Played it for a while and couldn't warp my head around it. It gets boring really fast and you just doing the same thing over and over again. There's no variety of things to do. It just feels like a mode, not a full game.

    If you do manage to survive, odds are you'll be killed by someone with a string of random numbers for a name that aimed at you across 10km and instant headshotted you. They don't do anything to prevent hackers like any real competitive game.

    Overall, its fun at first, but then you'll grow to quickly resent the game when you spend 15 minutes just picking up items just to die and do it again because of game engine problems.

    What's worse is that the developers have made it clear they arent focused on fixing any issues. They will not introduce region locking and the North American server is just all Chinese players which completely defeats the purpose of having a team game (can't communicate with any players). Also, lag favors the person lagging since hit registration etc is client side, so the same overseas people intentionally choosing a bad server for them will kill you before you can even see them on your screen. Besides this, the developers have already been forcing paid loot boxes down our throats before fixing ANY issues.

    this game had a shot at greatness 20 million hope for the best. chinese hackers, armys of no recoil bots. and the dev playing the race card for region lock.

    Having about just enough of the bugs, cheaters and bad design. I play about once a month since like february, and EVERY SINGLE GAME I run into cheaters. Right now, I got killed by a guy which sounded he's right in the front of me, while the whole time he was somewhere else. I went into the lobby, and the replay button is completely missing, even after restart. F*CK BLUEHOLE STUDIO. It'sHaving about just enough of the bugs, cheaters and bad design. I would SO much like to see, what they are actually doing with the money they are getting? It's just not possible they are working there. Btw, you can see they don't even bother buying a bit more servers, because in like 70 percent of modes, the matchmaking is just infinitely long and the game never starts.

    Lazy game by lazy developers. "Bluescam Inc" took all the money and ran instead further developing the game. It's not even a 1.0 release yet, feels like beta, smells like beta, still is beta. It can be classified as a niche game that was great in development stages but all the hype is gone and what's left is the bones of a potentially great game.     The idea is good, but the implementation is very poor. You play as if against bots, a lot of bugs, in short the game is not worth the money.

    General Idea of this game is extremely fresh and great. This will be a new Genre of Games, but PUBG will not be on the forfront of this Genre. The developers cant handle this game.
    1.0 Release and still a lot of Bugs, Crashes and Server Problems.
    EU Servers even went out for 6 hours, its a mess.

    While you can play other games with sub 30 ping if you live in California, you will always play with 90+ ping when you play PUBG. In addition to their 18hz server tick rate. People will shoot you before you can see them, kill you behind corners, get a drop on you without you being able to react in time... if you played TF2 or CS:GO on 60hz+ servers you will feel the sludge almost immediately.

    Deathcam really shows just how out of sync the game is between players, it creates an experience where your skills are irrelevant. Both horrid ping and low performance servers add up to infuriating gameplay.

    If Bluehole has any chance of saving this game - let the community host the servers. It could be an excellent game this way. Have your skins and loot boxes on your own servers, but let the gameplay servers be hosted at a financial loss by people who want to love this game.    … Expand

    Lags, bugs, glitches, cheaters in every single game, dated graphics, have no style, optimized worse than ARK:SE, very slow paced gameplay. Tbh, even H1Z1 is much better than this unfinished garbage.
    Only recommend if you want to make some cheap money on Steam, with bots you can run multiple accounts and grab around $40 per month, if lucky even more... Gl and Hf on Steam Market.

Almost every match you play has around 10%-30% of the lobby being hackers, with blatant wall/aim hacks, and the devs have not bothered to fix these issues for over 2 years.I made an account just to rate this game.     I want to like this game. I can't. I log in and die due to lag and more lag and more lag. No other game I play has lag online like this at all. Unplayable. Then I also hate the circle that gets smaller. It happens too fast and it's impossible to find a decent weapon before being killed. I don't see why people like this game at all? It really sucks. I would rather play Day Z or TeamI want to like this game. I can't. I log in and die due to lag and more lag and more lag. No other game I play has lag online like this at all. Unplayable.     This game attracts the same people that play Call of Duty so see PUBG as an Island that keeps those players out of our good games and keeps them out of our vision. I'm grateful for that. As for the game; the score should tell you everything you need to know; it's a giant pile of crap making horrible Western devs rich.

    Well, the game concept is interesting and fresh. Optimization is poor and terrible! Developers are greedy and tricky. Hype is monstrous. I think this game deserves 6-6.5 in it's current state. But I want to balance pre-payed "official" reviews with zero and to slow down a hype-train. Maybe Ill change my mind later if the game become better optimized and polished.

    Everyone is hacking / cheating to ruin the experience for everyone else and the majority of them don't get banned. If all the cheaters were banned, half the playerbase would be banned. You can just do a quick google search and bam, tons of premium hacks available that you can buy, that don't run on your computer, the makers say, run a VPN and connect to our server, you'll never be banned.Everyone is hacking / cheating to ruin the experience for everyone else and the majority of them don't get banned. If all the cheaters were banned, half the playerbase would be banned. You can just do a quick google search and bam, tons of premium hacks available that you can buy, that don't run on your computer, the makers say, run a VPN and connect to our server, you'll never be banned. I believe them, and I'm disappointed in the incompetence of the game's anti-cheat. Every single match ends with, someone knowing exactly where I'm going to be and lining up a head-shot minutes in advance, because they see every player position on the damn map with their hack.     Le jeu en lui même est bien, mais malheureusement la version Xbox One est vraiment à la ramasse.

    C'est vraiment une hone de sortir un jeu en cet état.

    Poor optimization. Unfinished product, bugs, poor performance with hi end PC, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is a promise of something, but they take money for a promise, not fair. A lot of missing contents for the most disappointing game of the year.

Supposedly out of early access yet still full of lag, desync, glitches, bugs, and oh man do they have a ton of cheaters, but don't worry they don't acknowledge the cheaters so they don't have to fix it. Hasn't made much progress from the Arma mod days if you take away the slight graphics upgrade.

    Critics are fake, i can't believe this game have the same score of the witcher 3. Is plenty of bugs, not optimized and really frustrating. YES OFC this is NOT **** game but the same metascore of Divinity2 or the witcher 3? We are near to ridiculousness. My score is 1 Cause i want to low this critics cheats but the game deserve 5/6...

    Fraudulent sale as is. Still poor optimization, laggy servers running on pentium 4, people forced to play poorly performed desert map 9/10 times, crashes, unable to get to lobby, rubber-banding, fps drops. It's still early alpha 0.1 version. Don't waste your time and money.

    This game is a fun concept ruined by amateur and immature creators.

    This most recent update has utterly broken the already tenuous netcode. It's so un-optimised it makes DayZ look polished.

    To top it all off it's just not fun to play. Run around hoping the RNG gives you some good loot and then die 20 mins later to someone you had no chance of spotting then do it all again.

    Do not buy.

Now the game freezes, lags, rubber-bands and has various other bugs you would expect from a beta version not a game that just rolled out from months of beta testing. The worst part is the cheating and hacking. There is so much of it that the game is no longer fun. Avoid this game. Will be uninstalling.

    PUBG is one of those games you're waiting to see AAA studio make. And EA has already hinted that they are seriously looking at taking this design further in next BattleField. Please EA, do it. I can't believe I am rooting for EA to do something well. Go DICE!

    The designer of this game is a brilliant dude, when it comes to design, he is a terrible community manager, awful technician, and an abnoxious public personality. When asked to region lock China (where 99% of cheaters come from) he called his NA community xenophobic. Never-mind that playing with people who cannot speak your language in a game where communication is not optional - completely ruins the experience.

    He ignores everything that annoys the community - the unfinished Miramar map, which should really be used as an example of how not to do maps, is forced on the player. There is no option to select the map, and because a lot of people don't want to play on it - it creates an over abundance of open servers with Miramar. Prepare yourself for a lot of Miramar - which comes with virtually undrivable terrain, busted loot and facilitates running more than running simulator does.

    Even after the game has been "fully" released netcode still sucks, although its not unplayable anymore. Loot field is filled with useless items like clothes (WHY!?! What does this add except blocking other items from being picked up?). Melee weapons are a checklist item - hardly anyone uses any of it outside of occasional gif clip on reddit. If you're used to awesome Battlefield melee system - you'll be in shock. Melee in PUBG is like drunken boxing where both parties will need to have their stomach pumped in the morning. Netcode is sluggish, molassy, unresponsive mess. If you're used to TF2 or Counterstrike - this game will feel broken. You'll be confused and irritated - as to why your shots dont land and why you've died running 5 feet behind a corner to a guy who should not be able to see you.

    Vehicles still flip at random on flat terrain. Glitches and messed up textures are everywhere. LOD does not seem to have been crafted beyond default Unreal Engine auto-lod. Hit registration is horrible, you'll routinely end up thinking you've hit the guy, and will see blood but when watching replay - you either never fired the gun or you've never hit the other player.

    Sound is insanely confusing and more often than not makes no sense - because its seemingly coming from a random direction.

    And lets not forget the stupid crates. Bluehole is bent on selling you crates. You thought EA was crate-obsessed? You're wrong - Bluehole is the new king of crate peddling - to a point where is an entire economy around it now (primarily from China) full of cheaters who only play to win the games, get the points, buy the crates, and re-sell items on the market.

    In conclusion I'd advise to wait for a AAA studios to make better versions of this game. It would suck if your first Battle Royale experience was as bad as PUB. Looking forward to DICE efforts.    … Expand

    The whole madness around PUBG is well-deserved. This is the best possible praise for this great battle-royale-genre shooter. What a pity there are so many bugs, mad vehicle physics and occasional cheaters, but it bothers you only for a while. When you frantically get into the hectic, slightly frightening struggle for life and death you’ll forget anything else.
