    game has pizza in the name and the character you play as is a Italian. i recommend the game and bla bla bla bla im forced to write 75 characters for this critic pls play the game the ost is very good and the levels are very creative and unique

    It's fast paced nature with a sense to keep up a combo is so great! 9/10 Would recommend!

    Literally one of the best 2d platformers I have ever played. The movement is incredible, the music is great, level design is one of the best, and the art style is fantastic. And to top it all off its only 20 bucks.

    Pizza Tower feels like the elements that make it weren't properly considered when the game was designed. For a game that describes itself as fast paced, it's absurd how labyrinthian the levels are, almost demanding you take your time. The boxy walls that are consistent in every stage really made every level feel the same, and the art style doesn't help, looking very rushed and unpolished All the level gimmicks like suits and rideable objects are boring, adding nothing but tiresome frustration as I have to spend my time backtracking for the sake of a single irritating obstacle. Most of these individual level gimmicks actually take away from your regular abilities or make your movement worse, which means if you want to keep going fast, you're gonna be trying to avoid these things for the most part. The game is preposterously easy, never punishing you properly for failure. If you run into a brick wall thousands of times, and have no consequences tied to it, you can eventually get through.

    So what do I like about this game? Well firstly, Peppino himself is extremely enjoyable to watch. His animations, while awkwardly drawn, do at least ooze with character. The controls are good, despite their lack of synergy with the levels they're used in, and the music has at least a couple of decent tracks, although I'd say most of the music I really don't like. At the end of the day I'm willing to at least give Pizza Tower a little bit of credit for the obvious amount of effort put into it, but as far as 2D platformers go, there's hundreds of better ones than this out there.    … Expand

    This game is one of the most wacky, fast and pleasing on the eyes game I've ever played.
    Sure the game can get hard or tense, but it makes up for it with a kick-ass soundtrack. I spent a lot of time playing Wario land 3/4 on the game boy/game boy advanced and its good to see Tour De pizza make me feel like a child again. This Sonic/Wario game is one you dont want to miss!

    Fantastic platformer with tons of replayability. Pick this one up if you enjoyed 2d sonic momentum and Wario Land. (edit i am so sorry i did not mean to rate this a 0)

    Pizza Tower is a magical 2d Platform game heavily inspired by the Spinoffs "Wario Land" from the mario franchise, but everything here is improved. With fast, frantic sonic-the-hedgehog-style gameplay, make high combos as you go through unique level design stages taking all enemies in front of you in high combos. The songs, in addition to being addictive, are totally nineties, reminding you of a magical era of songs (especially 16-bit games). The animation is a work of art, with its golden age style of Cartoon Network. The animation recalls drawings such as Courage, the cowardly dog and Chowder. The game also has high references and easter eggs that did not even need to be there but are just to show the affection of the developers in putting every detail. only defect in this wonder were their controls that aren't so good at some boss fights, taking some unfair damage sometimes (or I'm bad lol). In short, one of the best indie platform I've ever played, and strongly recommend if you are not only a fan of Wario Land, but also platforms in general.

    This game is like Wario Land but if Nintendo did cocaine while making it and I mean that in the best way possible. The fast paced platforming makes it nigh impossible to put down after starting, and the music will push you on.     REALLY REALLY good, like REALLY REALLY REALLY good!
    the art style is amazing and the game-play is even better!
    only issue is that some secrets are too hidden.

    I'm gonna give this a 10 because not only is the game *bizarrely* amazing, but I hold it close to my heart. I've been keeping up this game's development for a few years now, and to see it finished after all this time makes me real happy. It really deserves more attention.

    Also, the music. The music makes this game a 10 on it's own, it's weird and frenetic and I loved every second of it.

    Just a perfect and well polished platformer 2D, with wacky 90's cartoon style, which has been missing for a long time. If you missed Wario Land series, or games like Earthworm Jim that you gonna love Pizza Tower.

    The Wario Land formula is reinvented and improved upon in this magnificently clever and surreal platformer, that is more fun than any of the official Nintendo games.

    Refreshing, unique and incredibly polished, Pizza Tower brings an experience that few other platformers can hope to match. A twisted energy spike in a world full of bland 2D indies.
