Pikuniku is a fun puzzle game based in a fascinating dystopian world. It’s look and feel gives it a charming aesthetic that draws you in, and its solid controls coupled with balanced puzzles makes you stay a while.

It would have been nice if Pikuniku was longer and had a bit more to its story, if only because it means spending more time with its interesting and charming world. Still, what we have is a fun blend of physics-based gameplay, traditional platforming, exploration, eye-catching art and a fun cast that makes for one cute, highly-enjoyable experience. It’s a quick little romp through a gleefully bizarre world that you won’t regret checking out.

It's impossible not to love Pikuniku, but now I want some more.

Despite being rather short, Pikuniku is sure to please players anyway thanks to its pleasant presentation, relaxed atmosphere, goofy characters, and its world that's just plain fun to explore.

Pikuniku is a funny game on numerous levels--the script often undercuts tension and plays with tropes in amusing ways, the goofy way you flip when you jump is a constant source of amusement, and the game will often throw you into strange situations without much explanation.

A wonderfully absurd tale of insurrection and kicking stuff in a cheery-looking world.

Pikuniku is quirky, funny and more than a little bit mad, all adding up to a short-but-sweet, colourful platform adventure.

Pikuniku is a relaxing action-puzzle game with a good sense of humor. The interesting mixture of cute visuals and a dystopian world is worth a look.

Starting as a good joke, Pikuniku quietly evolves into a nice little game with a crazy story. Simple and rather good in everything it has to offer, it’s in some ways a good avenue to introduce kids to the metroidvania genre.

Pikuniku offers a few amusing moments, but its underwhelming presentation and simplistic gameplay make for an easily forgettable experience.

Pikuniku is simple, silly, and ultimately kind of pointless. That being said, if you're looking for a short, feel-good experience, it might be up your alley.

Its absurdity, alongside occasional quips do end up pulling their weight, but it’s not enough to save Piku’s journey from being inoffensive and simply forgettable.

It has pretty solid physics based platforming and puzzle solving with some little mini games and bosses here and there. It has some pretty okay writing, although I can't say I found the humour very funny. It's got a decent cast of characters and has a nice variety of areas to explore. It also however has an outrageously high asking price for the game, and the actually story does nothing except the bare minimum. It doesn't utilise any of its characters or plot elements in ways you wouldn't expect and the story is extremely linear and predictable. The game is also barely 2 hours long and abruptly ends out of no where, leaving you with a a large empty open world afterwards. I enjoyed the game, but if I knew how much I would enjoy it I wouldn't have paid for it. I can't recommend this game based on price. Maybe pick it up on sale if you're really itching to try it. It's a nice simple 2D platformer. Nothing ground-breaking really. If you enjoy platformers, you'll enjoy this.

One of the most underrated games ever and it didn't get a good advertisement. I didn't know it existed until it was free on Epic Games Store.
