    From its captivating music and memorable story to its gorgeous style, every aspect of the game seems to mesh together and work incredibly well. Each piece builds up and compliments the next, until the game is justified in standing atop the RPG genre as royalty.

    Persona 5 Royal was already the best version of one of the greatest JRPGs, and it has gotten an excellent PC conversion that is a joy to play on Steam Deck and PC. With the inclusion of all prior DLC from the start and support for higher frame rates and multiple control options, Persona 5 Royal on PC is absolutely essential. If you held off on prior console versions of Persona 5, your wait has been worth it.

    Persona 5 Royal makes the leap to PC with aplomb. There’s a decent suite of options including rebindable controls and resolution scaling, but it’s not quite perfect. Keyboard and mouse leave a small amount to be desired and the UI looks awful at resolutions below 1080. Still, if you’re looking to play one of the most stylish and fun JRPGs around, PC is the perfect way to experience it.

    A fking masterpiece. Peak gaming and immersive storytelling.

    To be frank the gameplay and rpg depth is good at best, lets say a 7/10. But the storytelling, the slice of life immersive sim is so beyond anything else I've seen it's an ez 10/10 for me. This was my first persona so I cant w8 to play p4 which is the best persona according to many. Also the soundtrack is excellent. Cant listen to anything else for like a month. P5R makes video games feel alive again, and it makes me feel alive again. The ultimate narrative experience, P5R sustains exhilaration for over 100 hrs, asking you to simply take your time as you develop a beautiful friendship with the Phantom Thieves and learn more about yourself, in the end, wondering how a video game could take your heart.     - All of the palaces are very unique from each other, both in terms of visuals as well as layout and gameplay
    - The story and themes are pretty well executed
    - The social links (and yes, I do mean social links, you cannot pay me to call them confidants because I'm too much of a contrarian to allow it) are not only all memorable, but pretty good
    - The game itself looks amazing (both graphics-wise as well as in terms of UI and menu design)

    Things I disliked:
    - The final boss fight for the 4th palace is one of the most infuriating things I've encountered in a Persona game
    - With the last part being said, the game overall is pretty easy, to the point where I didn't feel like I needed to think much in terms of combat, Especially when...
    - The DLC personas are very OP, which wouldn't be a problem if they weren't free in the compendium AND available to you at the start of the game, but they are.
    - Some characters completely lose relevance after their palace is completed (looking at you, Haru)
    - I feel that the phantom thieves forgive Makoto (and a certain character, if you know you know) a little too quickly
    -Although this port is the best one we've had of a persona/SMT game since P4G, It still has some bugs (although, none of them are game-breaking)

    Conclusion: although I wouldn't consider this game the best game in the series, It's still a masterpiece that I highly recommend playing, although I would get it on sale if you already own P5R.    … Expand

    It takes a whole 140 hours to finish the game with the side activities, main story, palaces and stuff but it is all worth it. Probably the best 150 hours of your life

    Game gets really good after Sae's palace and onward, Sae, Shido and Maruki's palace are easily the top 3 palaces

    The main story is very engaging and can have you to be emotionally attached to the characters
    it even starts off very well with Kamoshida's arc
