    There’s some joy in experiencing the landscapes of Paws and Soul, but that’s about all that can be said for it — it’s a dull, sluggish effort in service of two boring and awkwardly-conveyed stories that don’t connect with each other. Not all purgatory games feel like purgatory, but this one sure did.

    Paws and Soul is a very pretty game to look at, and if it were just a wolf-sim collect-a-thon it could be a pretty fun game. Unfortunately, the unappealing narrative mixed with poor voice acting and unfitting background music are enough to kill what little the game has going for it. Paws and Soul may appeal to those who want to play as a wolf roaming empty yet beautiful landscapes, but it's not for those who are looking to self-reflect or who want to enjoy a deep and thought-provoking story.

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I advise everyone to play this game. She does have a soul, despite some problems. There's something about it... soothing and alluring. The plot is controversial, but clear. The authors of the game wanted to show what life looks like from a different angle when you look at your actions from the outside. After all, "Paws and Soul" allows you to touch your memories and show how we behave strangely in moments of our life. Even if in the next life we do not remember the past, we take the experience into a new life. I hope this game will show you a personal meaning and experience. In the game there are two story lines. The main one is about David, the extra one is about a girl named Michelle. Based on personal observations, David's line takes place in the past, which can no longer be influenced in any way, unlike Michelle. We can influence her choice directly, I think this is possible, since Michelle is the future life of the main character. The plot plays an important role in the game.     It is very relaxing, no enemies, no puzzles, just enjoy the amazing graphics and soudtrack.
    If you want an exciting gameplay, you are not gonna get it in this game.This game is more like a walking simulator.
    So far, I am about 70 minutes into the game and while it is a beautiful game, I find myself not really caring what happens in the story line.    … Full Review »
