May 10, 2021While the controls leave a lot of room for improvement, Pascal’s Wager: Definitive Edition is a Souls-like game that offers sufficiently high quality.

Mar 15, 2021Unique and outstanding on mobile, Pascal's Wager becomes a decidedly less ambitious and spectacular soulslike on PC, where the game has to deal with a lot of fierce competition.

Mar 22, 2021If Pascal's Wager has managed to emerge on mobile due to a little fierce competition, its Definitive Edition on PC does not hit the same goal. A good longevity and a series of precautions that make the title more accessible for non-experts of the genre, unfortunately, are not enough to raise the overall quality of the production, aggravated by an approximate technical realization and a gameplay not adequately finished. If you have already completed both the entire From Software library of works and the other exponents of the genre, and nevertheless you still thirst for soulslike, Pascal's Wager could still be for you: the important thing is not to have high expectations, and to be willing to close an eye before the limits of the work.

Mar 19, 2021TipsWorks shows overzealousness in copying Dark Souls and Bloodborne to the point that it feels as a complete substitute of those games against which it does not compare favorably. On the other hand, the variety of enemies and bosses alongside a functioning gameplay could make Pascal’s Wager a curiosity for fans of the “soulsborne” genre.
