Honestly, I don't like this game once the rose colored glasses come off. Strategy has been streamlined out of existence. On the tactical side there are few meaningful decisions yet the mere act of moving your units around is tedious. Sound effects get REALLY grating after a while, there's only a handful and the unit-death one in particular is unpleasant and gets used for EVERYTHING. Level editor is excruciatingly bad, unless the ability to accidentally unpause is actually super beneficial in some way I'm too stupid to understand. The campaign has reasonably good levels, especially considering the mechanics it has to work with. However, the story text is a waste of hard drive space.
It works, I guess, and is ok for a few hours and isn't *excessively* an offense to the senses, but there's also stuff out there with actual engaging mechanics and compelling storylines, such as Pong. Knucklecracker's previous game, creeper world 3, was lightyears better in every regard. Get that one instead.… Expand
