    This is an interesting game from a certain point of view. I enjoyed playing it, does have a special graphic and great game mechanics, the overall sound is good. Keeps you entertained and satisfied.

    This game is a WALKING SIMULATOR. With that said.. I very much enjoy "Heaven Island". I strongly recommend this to others who ENJOY Walking Simulators. As well as anything that is relaxing. There is not alot to do which is normal due to it being a Walking Simulator. The movement on the game is great, you    Keep in mind this game is not for everyone.

    I very much enjoy "Heaven Island". I strongly recommend this to others who ENJOY Walking Simulators. As well as anything that is relaxing. There is not alot to do which is normal due to it being a Walking Simulator. The movement on the game is great, you can walk or sprint, plus bonus if you're like me and you looove to jump, there's jumping! While wandering around the island you're able to collect seashells or apples, not sure why but it's a cute little feature, (Press E). As far as closing the game, typical with the engine it's created with; Esc will close your game. You are NOT crashing.
    I'm rather dissapointed with alot of these; scratch that, 90% of these bad reviews. Mostly because NONE of them have read what the game is about and still write a bad reviews. I'm sorry this is not a survival game. This is not Gmod, nor COD. This is "Heaven Island" an Adventurous, Walking Simulator that is made by an Indie Dev. Who has also made it to work with VR. It has beautiful graphics; yes they're not HIGH DEF DETAIL but they are still BEAUTIFUL. There is music every now and then, but not all the time. The ambience is very calming and once again it is very relaxing to play or even just to leave it open for the sound while you do things in your room/house. There are also little open books everywhere with cute and meaningful messages, yes some of them are hard to understand but I believe the Dev's native tongue is not English; the point gets across though and they're very nice messages. I look forward to the next Walking Simulator I see of his in Green Light. It would be very awesome to see a game from this Dev that had this open world style but with more to do; such as a survival game.    … Expand

    So there's not much going on in this game. It's a walking sim and you can collect apples and shells - super simple. The environment does feel really explorable and I've played a few different times now and have found new little places each time. It generally has a nice and peaceful atmosphere, but I did personally find that sometimes when the music kicks in it makes the whole thing feelSo there's not much going on in this game. There's also a cicada noise that appears, which I associate with Neon Genesis Evangelion and how they used relentless cicada noises in that damn show to foster a sense of unease (so, yeah, cicada noises make me feel uneasy). I'd actually really like to see Heaven Island re-imagined as a horror game.

    I think the game environment has a lot of intrigue to it, and I find myself wondering what this place is and why our player character might be there. Not something I usually wonder when playing walking sims. I also enjoy the apple and shell collecting achievements because whilst you are just doing the same simple action repeatedly, it gives you an objective and provides at least some actual gameplay, which I really appreciate in a walking sim. Just a little something to do.

    I also wandered out to sea and managed to fall underneath the game, but in a game like this that just made it more fun.    … Expand

    The movement on the game is nice, you can run and accelerate and even jump While going around the island you're able to collect seashells or apples, animals and books to power up your knoledge.
