The focus on cultural norms and folklore is such a great idea! The best thing I can say about this game is that I found it genuinely educational. Beyond that it really is a nothing game. It's a novel idea, but not one done very well. Still if it is even remotely interesting to you check it out, it's cheap and foreign indie devs are some of the most unseen and unsuccessful sadly. Despite a poorly conceived save system and a sense of aimlessness in seeking out multiple endings, the debut installment of Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror is a unique choice-driven horror experience with an impressive amount of educational and replay value and an unexpectedly strong narrative core.
