    The magic is gone, and I am sad. As a video game developer myself, and a very serious Overwatch 1 player, I appreciate several of the changes that they have made, but the game now feels fundamentally unbalanced. This results in wild murderballs that make for multiple team kills per game, on a nearly per-match basis.

    Overall, it plays faster, which I do enjoy. As a Lucio/Winston/Tracer    The magic is gone, and I am sad. As a video game developer myself, and a very serious Overwatch 1 player, I appreciate several of the changes that they have made, but the game now feels fundamentally unbalanced. This results in wild murderballs that make for multiple team kills per game, on a nearly per-match basis.

    Overall, it plays faster, which I do enjoy. As a Lucio/Winston/Tracer main, I have fun with them. But the changes to tanks encourage more freelancing, which exposes healers to assasination. In OW1 with 2 tanks, you could have an off-tank/hunter, and a defender of the healers. Great. That was fine.

    Now, if your tank hunts, your healers are at risk. If even worse, you end up with 2 backline snipers, and an off-tank, it is auto-lose for the team, and truly an exercise in ultimate frustration for healers. They will constantly be on their own, or chasing the off-tank that abandons them, or just supporting backline snipers as the opposing team keeps the payload rolling or controls points.

    Team composition is absolutely critical. One mistake with the old 2/2/2 setup could be overcome more easily. Double snipers could be overcome with a Rein/Zarya setup or similar. Now... No hope.

    Becuase of this I absolutely refuse the Role Queue. I love my man Lucio, but if I see double snipers on my team, and a DVA, I will just be doomed. Better off to go Soldier/Mei so that I can survive myself, and maybe stall the other team. It is still a likely loss, but at least I have a fighting chance, rather than as a healer by myself.

    The Good:
    - Tanks are now much more fun in general
    - New characters all play well individually
    - Orissa is insanely fun, whereas I used to despise her boring hold-ground gameplay
    - It is pretty, little touches like improved VFX across the board really elevate it
    - New scoreboard is nice, can see ult status of teammates easily

    The Bad:
    - Feast or Famine momentum swings
    - Can be rage-quittingly frustrating as a healer
    - One mistake in team composition might not be able to be overcome
    - Robot push maps are crazy long, exacerbating problems with a freelancing team
    - UI is much harder to use. Reporting system is hard to use.
    - Exiting the game takes 4 clicks. Seriously? Bad UX there.
    - Good stuff like the fun leaderboard highlighting Environment Kills, Jump Pack kills, heals, is now gone. Boo!    … Expand

    Probably the worst matchmaking I've ever seen in a game because of soft resetting people's MMR. Garbage monetization. Tons of server issues. Tons of bugs with skins. Avoid this pile of waste at all costs. It's not the game we once loved.

    Overwatch 2 is a scummy free to play model.
    There is no progression anymore without buying the battle pass.
    You can't earn skins and stuff anymore through lootboxes because they were removed so Blizzard can sell you 6 years old skins for 20 bucks!!!

    I played overwatch 1 for so long now is a mess, everybody talking about how nothing changed and is the same game, but it changed a lot now is just mess fights it lost the strategy and the interesting part i feel like im playing unreal tournament in the 90s

    Somehow this game manages to be both more complicated and more boring than the previous version at the same time. It clearly was made for some specific audience; I am guessing an audience that doesn't want teamwork, doesn't want tactics, doesn't want to play support, and wants to just frag. But in the process they took away everything that was good about the last version. Too bad.

    Blizzard forgot an "options" button in the main menu. Instead you have to press ESC or go into the "menu" in the corner of your screen to access "options". You know what has a dedicated button in the main menu? The shop.     One of the worst gaming experiences I have ever witnessed. Completely unplayable for someone who is a new player as the game does nothing to try and match you of players of equal skill. There is no point in interacting with any player, mode, or objective whatsoever because you are never rewarded with anything, not even dopamine for getting a win.     brilliant...twice brilliant...we thought you couldn't make a game worse on a computer than on a phone...but these guys did it. The game gets worse with every update. the imbalance is HORRIBLE. sea ​​of ​​cheaters. half of the characters are not needed at all. And they don't ask for money for it.     Заря стала неубиваемая, испортили полный хаос. Баттл пасс невозможный. Говорили про какие то бонусы тем, кто покупал игру, а в итоге ощущение зря потраченных денег, эти самые бонусы не стоят цены иргы. Раньше можно было спокойно сесть поиграть вечерком и на скин по тихоньку зарабатывать, так теперь это будет вообще невозможно... Выпустили игру с недоработанными фразами, иногда лагает звук,Заря стала неубиваемая, испортили полный хаос. Баттл пасс невозможный.     A pathetic update to a dead game that is simply being presented as a sequel for marketing purposes, it still has the likeable characters, visuals and music that the original had but to say that this game has gone stale would be a massive understatement.

    its an update, it is not a game that deserves a title "2". get you s together blizzard already. and its not that i would call it "2", maybe "0.5" or "0.3" would be closer. new mode is garbage, 5v5 does not work. i just hate it right now. no boxes but a paywall pass, no ranked but weird ranked. ah...

    Too many bugs, paywalls drop in your face regularly, and support has been essential made a drag to play. This isn't a sequel, Blizzard took a finished product, damaged it, and sold it as new. Blizzard is a trash studio now with morally corrupt people. You abuse your employees as well as your clients. Eat dirt.

    I was very excited for this game to come out. I'm still excited to play it. I just... don't get why they trashed the cyberpunk battlepass. Now I feel like I got mega-ripped off with the watchpoint pack. Still a decent game though.

    Je suis et vous avez réussi à me dégouter du jeux vous même en retirant plusieurs contenu et aspect vital du jeux comme : - Coffre à butin gratuit à chaque passage de niveau ou bien payant mais pas obligatoire afin de remplir sa collection de skin, emote..etc, remplacé par une    bonjour, j'écris pour donner mon avis sur Overwatch 2, qui est à mon goût une merveilleruse arnaque..

    Je suis et vous avez réussi à me dégouter du jeux vous même en retirant plusieurs contenu et aspect vital du jeux comme :

    - Coffre à butin gratuit à chaque passage de niveau ou bien payant mais pas obligatoire afin de remplir sa collection de skin, emote..etc, remplacé par une boutique avec des prix ecoeurant (20€ un skin merdique).

    - Suppression de plusieurs maps du jeu (anubis, blizzard world qui etait une des meilleurs du jeux, volskaya..et j'en passe).

    - Suppression du mode 2CP.

    - Suppression de la monter de level qu profil joueur.

    - Le 6v6 qui à disparu remplacé par du 5v5 qui maintenant ne veut plus rien dire car plus aucune tactique de jeu.

    - Système d'intégration des nouveaux heros au battle pass.

    - XP obtenue après une partie extremement faible par rapport au temps passé en game parfois injuste.

    - et encore une fois : LA SUPPRESSION DES COFFRE AU PROFIT D4UNE BOUTIQUE EXCESSIVEMENT CHERE.

    Je pense oublié surement d'autres points mais je pense aussi que vous avez signé la propre arrêt de mort de votre ''Pompe à fr..JEUX'' (JEUX) LOL !!!    … Expand

    Можно начать с технической части , не то что сервы не выдерживают а то что тебя может после захода в любой момент во время игры выкинуть, у многих пропали их вещи на персов , само собой они это не особо фиксят пока что хоть и обещают

    Далее матчи, обычные само собой я ж не потеть захожу и вот тут на редите чел 5 месяцев назад писал "перед выходом овера 2 как то тяжело стало играть, одни потники в обычке или мне так кажется?", с ним там кто то соглашался кто то нет, но по итогу я и сам столкнулся с этим и не раз, я ж не молодею да и руки забыли игру, захожу а там вот это на генджи дает - 5 в первые 30 секунд игры и ведь таких челов дохрена, ладно бы это были люди хотя бы равные лвлу моего акка, но нет это трайхардеры всех сортов и расцветок играющие на уровень гма, что они в обычках делают не ясно как и вообще все эт случилось, но примерно те же 5 месяцев назад я слышал о минимально низком онлайне овера, вот и думаю что так они решили "бороться" с проблемой

    И последнее 5 на 5 тоже решает, потому что теперь со всеми увеличениями хп и бустами мета танков и хилеров резко вышла в топы(хоть такое и было раньше даже на про сцене но "ента другое" ), а у китсуне есть и хил и крит в голову который впервые за всю историю овера наносит х3 урона, то есть 120 а в тело всего 40, как дзеньятта только лучше, я бы сказал что вопрос баланса в овере не правилен, его нет и не будет но все таки на закрытой бете лучше бы учли мнение игроков на счет новых персов , а так новый режим с толканием робота конечно веселый но он не многое то и меняет да и он вроде только один а о нем разрабы говорили как "ВОТ СМОТРИТЕ ЭТО ЖЕ РОБОТ И ОН ТОЛКАЕТ ПРЕПЯТСТВИЕ ОФИГЕЕЕЕТЬ", теперь нельзя выбивать контейнеры но появился боевой пропуск с разделением "для бедных" само собой, валюта исчезла да и игроки впринципе злы с того что даже старые скины нормально нельзя получить а надо "донатить и покупать или потеть" даже при условии что скин древняя фигня ничего не стоящая

    Закончу тем что близы ставили себе цель как можно меньше потратить и сделать как можно больше, им удалось только первое и то не до конца, и ведь реально игроки бы нормально ко всему отнеслись если бы людям не ссали в уши 3 года про "инновационную игру" и то как она "перевернет индустрию и новый овер", но могу сказать и положительные вещи, игра стала анимированнее, появилось несколько карт, озвучка новая хоть и не доделанная на русский до конца и стало больше рандомшотов , но последнее эт так чисто как я это все видел, близардам снова удалось испортить о себе впечатление, никогда не было и вот опять    … Expand

    Disappointed. I heard a lot about how great the original Overwatch was, so I was intrigued and downloaded the game, but then things went bad. My friend couldn't play due to the SMS system, the queue times can reach five minutes, and pretty much all the cosmetics are monetized, which is a shame because it's a pretty fun game otherwise.

    Overwatch 2 is a free to play game, and I’d definitely recommend trying it out if you haven’t to see how you feel about the gameplay and to see how well it runs on Steam Deck. Despite its flaws, it is still worth playing, but some of the decisions with how certain content has been handled in-game are weird. Overwatch 2 is yet to reach the highs of the original Overwatch, but it is still a great multiplayer game to play on Steam Deck. I enjoyed Overwatch 2 quite a bit on Switch despite the visual and performance cutbacks, but it really shines on Steam Deck.

    While the game is called Overwatch 2, this all seems more like a transition to a full new game. The biggest changes are dropping the 6v6 gameplay in favour of a much more exciting 5v5 format. Three new heroes are also available, along with a new game mode, but for a final and real verdict, everyone should wait for the upcoming PvE segment.

    Overwatch 2 delivers high-octane multiplayer gameplay and a wholly improved version of the much-loved hero shooter. Now that the dust has settled, it’s becoming clear that despite a number of teething issues, the game manages to do what many sequels struggle to; build upon a successful game, and make it even better.
