Apr 18, 2022Like any good skateboarding game, OlliOlli World has a soundtrack that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the world in which it is inserted, although I personally don't like the chosen musical genre so much, I can't deny that it worked well with the cartoonish and even bizarre visuals. OlliOlli World has everything to be one of the best indie games of 2022, which combines the single-player experience with an extremely competitive multiplayer experience, with a scoring system and that you'll want to compete against your friends to see who can score the most in each stage.
-
Feb 4, 2022OlliOlli World is a wonderful skateboarding game that delivers everything I could have ever wanted. Its gorgeous pastel color art, flawless optimization, and slick controls combine to create a premier indie game.
-
Feb 4, 2022A masterclass in design, style, and connection, OlliOlli World perfects the formula and delivers a heartfelt world at the same time.
-
Mar 9, 2022OlliOlli World does a perfect job in bringing the coolness of skateboarding culture to the videogame format. Fair course design and a limitless scoring system make the gameplay appealing to both hardcore and casual gamers. The deep character customization is great too. OlliOlli World is just so good that even falling feels fun.
-
Edge MagazineFeb 24, 2022Bigger doesn't necessarily mean better, but OlliOlli World pulls off that rarest of tricks: it's a sequel that loses none of its capacity for challenge, while lowering the barrier to entry sufficiently to welcome in a new audience. [Issue#369, p.116]
-
Feb 8, 2022Its approachability and poppy, colourful presentation make diving into densely packed levels and chasing high scores feel like a warm hug before the white-knuckle drop in.
-
Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World is a title full of enthusiasm and love for skateboarding.
-
Feb 3, 2022Anyone who loved the first two games is going to go nuts for this one, as it kickflips the franchise forward in just about every way.
-
Feb 3, 2022Rollercoaster-like courses and a wealth of moves make OlliOlli World a huge amount of fun to play, whether you’re just cruising or out to become a true skate god.
-
Feb 3, 2022Anyone would be justified in deciding to continue honing their skate skills in OlliOlli World. It's a fun game with practically infinite replay value thanks to asynchronous online multiplayer and the ability to generate new levels randomly. And despite realizing that I may never be the king of the halfpipe, I still find myself loading the game up to spend an hour attempting to master a new track with a single-combo run. OlliOlli World is all about the journey, that state of flow that washes over when you've committed to a challenging run, and testing your limits that way never goes out of style.
-
Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World’s visual style, fluid controls and accessible flow make it a fantastic entry to the platformer genre. Abundant in personality, it was obvious that taking some time out to create a worthy sequel has paid off for Roll7. Fans will adore it.
-
Feb 3, 2022It’s hard not to be impressed, despite the lack of multiplayer features, with OlliOlli World's wonderful take on skateboarding and its creative storytelling.
-
Feb 3, 2022Without a doubt, OlliOlli World is going to be the skateboarding game to check out in 2022. It's an adventure full of plenty of fun and is incredibly hard to fault. Where the challenge in the late game can be a bit much, plenty of accessibility options help you make do. On offer are luscious and vibrant levels to absolutely melt away into with rewarding easy-to-pick-up and at times hard-to-master gameplay. Roll7's hard work refining their craft and genre niche over the years have well paid off, shaping one of the best and most joyous skating games in a long time. It's well worth creating your own weird skating hero, diving head first into the wondrous weird OlliOlli World has on offer. You owe yourself that much.
-

-
Feb 8, 2022OlliOlli World is a game that is full of personality and will challenge you to your core. It’s hard, but a ton of fun and very rewarding, however I'm warning you, expect a lot of swearing!
-
Feb 3, 2022From the perspective of someone who always respected but couldn’t penetrate the series, OlliOlli World feels just perfect. I was engrossed for long periods of time and absolutely ate through the title. I’m ready to move on, rather than push for completion, but I think that’s part of the beauty. There’s something for everyone, whether or not you’ve got a competitive edge or just want to reach for Gnarvana.
-
Feb 3, 2022The Kingdom of Radlandia is full of fun and shows pretty well how Roll7 keeps growing and improving.
-
Feb 4, 2022OlliOlli World is a cozy little game, where everyone will find something for themselves. Despite some rough moments, this creation from Roll 7 studio turned out to be a great follow-up to the original OlliOlli.

Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World is pure fun. It is well structured and offers both experienced and new players multiple ways to enjoy the game to their liking. Great music, a wonderful artstyle and a motivating leaderboard system make Olli Olli World an incredibly enjoyable experience, regardless *of* experience.
-
Feb 3, 2022In short, it's more complete, more pleasant to watch, still as exhilarating and quick to play. A real achievement for the license.
-
Feb 3, 2022Supported by a fresh graphic style, and by an unexpected complexity of the level design of its tracks, OlliOlli World is a brilliant platform that you should not ignore in any way.
-
Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World manages to build on its predecessors while also feeling like a totally new game.
-
Feb 3, 2022Behind the chilled out vibes of OlliOlli World's new art style, happy-go-lucky characters and eccentric customisation, this game takes Roll7's flow-state side-scrolling skating to new heights. It's a tad more welcoming for newcomers, but even OlliOlli 2 veterans will have plenty of new tricks to learn and master through its increasingly wild and challenging levels.
-
Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World has a chill vibe that allows players to enjoy performing skating tricks, whether to clear platforming challenges or just to challenge themselves to the highest score. The game offers little else besides cosmetic rewards, but it more than makes up for it with its replayability and addictive nature. It's the perfect game for those who want to play a game with the same level of depth as the Tony Hawk or Skate franchises.

Game World Navigator MagazineOct 19, 2022This game is fast. So fast you don’t see levels, just splashes of color and sound cues, – like “ding” of an upcoming crystal, which means that you need to perform grab. There are no two ways about it – you either do the grab, or you faceplant. [Isssue#259, p.56]
-
Feb 14, 2022OlliOlli World continues to kick flip its way across a variety of colorful and imaginative levels. Returning fans will be pleased with this familiar experience sporting a new art style, but newcomers may be put off by eventually increasing difficulty and repetitive trial-and-error nature of the levels.

Feb 3, 2022OlliOlli World has gone for that most coveted of design goals - "easy to learn, hard to master". I think it succeeds. For those who join me in obsessiveness, it may become responsible for hundreds of game pads laid low by kickflip-induced stick drift. Such is the intensity and frequency with which you will twiddle them sticks. I know. I stand before you a man touched by a divinity only those raised by gaming magazines of the 90s can fathom. I can say, with integrity, without embellishment, that this game is so fierce it will give you literal skin sores. It is blisteringly good. [RPS Bestest Bests]
