Aug 25, 2016Okhlos is based on a simple concept with an even simpler gameplay mechanic that may very well be better suited for mobile devices, but that doesn’t stop it from being hilarious, dumb fun when it’s clicking.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Nov 7, 2016Okhlos is goofy and funny arcade fun, if you would like to spend a moment of your time. If you don´t expect anything extra, you won't be disappointed. [Issue#267]

Sep 19, 2016Crazy uprising of ancient Greeks against their gods has wit and style. Unfortunately, the furious action runs out soon. Okhlos as an unusual interpretation of the Greek myths is great fun, but just for a while.

Aug 30, 2016Too much chaos will kill you. Okhlos if fun, but for a very short time.

Aug 18, 2016As much as I enjoy the tone of Okhlos and its silly but well-informed take on Greek mythology, its repetitive format and simplistic gameplay hook aren't an engaging combination. I'd like to see every little goofy reference it has to offer, but the motivation to push through the grind just isn't there.

Aug 24, 2016Okhlos feels like an elevator pitch – ‘go smash up a comedy ancient Greece’ – made flesh, without too much worry about expanding upon the concept. I do admire that, there’s a purity and a glee to it, and it’s refreshing to not butt up against a skill ceiling as in something like Isaac, but I guess once you’ve smote one god, you’ve smote ’em all.
