    The game's atmosphere, story, SFX, and voice acting are all superb, even today.

    The controls feel very delayed and imprecise, especially for a game that has a lot of platforming. I have played other platformers with strange controls but I never seemed to adjust to Abe's choppy movements. It can be frustrating to die because Abe takes too long to react to my input.     The puzzles are difficult but rewarding.
