LEVEL (Czech Republic)Apr 10, 2015Sly-looking puzzle platformer that has lot to say even eighteen years after the first release. If you didn't know the original, you wouldn’t recognize this one is a remake. [Issue#251]

Mar 10, 2015Oddworld New'n'Tasty is the best remake of a game I have played so far, a true testament to the love and respect the devs of Just Add Water have for the original Abe's Oddysee. Even old Oddworld fans will find themselves amazed by the stunning visuals and the general redesign the title offers. A must-buy.

Pelit (Finland)Mar 19, 2015This is how you do a remake. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is as much a piece of art as it is a just a thoroughly fantastic puzzle platformer. [March 2015]

Mar 19, 2015Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is an excellent puzzle platform game that managed to revive the legacy of its predecessor. It's fun from the old school, that is not troubled to work with mechanics and level design that are almost twenty years old. And that you explore during one hour twenty times or you blast to pieces? That is yours and Abe's destiny.

Feb 25, 2015Oddworld Abe's Oddysee was one of the best platform games ever. Abe's remake is worthy of praise. If you like platform games, you will be pleased with Oddworld New 'n' Tasty.

May 15, 2015It’s a great reason to (re)visit Abe and his odd world, especially if you haven’t played the original game.

PC GamerMar 27, 2015If you've never played an Oddworld, this is the best place to start. [Apr 2015, p.56]

Feb 26, 2015Even if you have played through the original already, the enhanced visuals and polished gameplay are reasons enough to take the "oddysee" back.
-
Feb 26, 2015A loving interpretation that captures the spirit and charm of days gone perfectly.
-
Mar 17, 2015Taken altogether, New 'n' Tasty still makes the Oddworld experience totally worth it.
-
Feb 27, 2015Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is great remake in terms of quality, remastering the original experience in a fantastic way. The original story still holds up, and while the gameplay may be a bit too hard for some newcomers, it's still rewarding, despite a few not-so-great aspects, like the sound effects.
-
Feb 24, 2015Still, for those who take the time to persevere, New ‘n’ Tasty proves to be as delectable a treat as Abe’s original Odyssey all those years ago.
-
Mar 5, 2021A few niggling control issues and glitches aside, it is highly recommended to check out Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty before Soulstorm arrives this year. There is a lot to love about Abe's tough adventure, with stealth, puzzles, and plenty of other mechanics all at play in determining whether he saves his 299 Mudokon buddies or not. A one-of-a-kind side-scroller that still stands the test of time.
