Obey Me is a very decent action brawler and its protagonists earn all our sympathy, even though the story is not that compelling and the combat system shows some limitations.

Obey Me is a solid debut from Error 404 Game Studios. It certainly has its flaws with its script and playthroughs can become repetitive, but there’s a lot to enjoy here. Combat is satisfying, its darker aesthetic works well and holds a lot of replay value, though it’s a game best experienced in smaller playthroughs. If you can get around its flaws, brawler fans will find a lot to like here and if you can play with a friend, it comes recommended.

An unusual mix of a lot of playability, some seasoned and some fresh ideas, an interesting world, and a huge dose of clunkiness. [07/2020, p.70]

Obey Me has its shortcomings, but it’s quite enjoyable. Although there are better brawlers out there, if you’re looking for one with local coop, this can be a good option.

If you're able to ignore the hokey storyline and amateurish writing, Obey Me is a decent action game.

Definitely recommend checking it out if you like Indie titles that doesn't take itself too seriously.
