Playing Not For Broadcast for the first time is akin to having a waking nightmare. [Issue#369, p.121]

Overall Not For Broadcast has a satirical story that is well written, dark and has some great acting in it. The core game of being the News Producer and editing everything on the fly is a really well-done sim that can at times be stressful as more things get introduced every level. I really enjoyed my time playing Not For Broadcast and was sad that is was over so soon, but I am excited to see how this all ends. [Early Access Provisional Score = 95]

I like Not for Broadcast, but it looks like a The Fly-style experiment grafted together from two different games. I would like very much to play either of them separately, but putting them together weakens the final product. There’s time for developer NotGames to right the ship, however, and the mechanics are intriguing enough to keep me interested in the next chapter.
  3. The central, notionally interactive premise of fiddling around with camera angles, retuning signals and slapping censorship buttons isn’t engaging enough in the moment to make you want to dive back in and uncover the two thirds of the game you miss, but one helping of the news is more than enough. A strange, funny, and enormously ambitious game, Not For Broadcast is unlike anything else I’ve played.

Not for Broadcast is an enjoyable satirical propaganda sim, placing you into the role of micro-managing a TV station. Ever fancied editing onNot for Broadcast is an enjoyable satirical propaganda sim, placing you into the role of micro-managing a TV station. Ever fancied editing on the fly and censoring curses, whilst dodging waves of interference? NFB is for you! It's an enjoyable little game to play through.

For me, it was an extremely fun game that had some amusing stressful bits! The team also deserves props for their lockdown update!

The game has interesting storyline, unique gameplay (cus all the scenes were made with real actors), and very good implementation overall.
