    Nostale was the first MMORPG of my childhood and I can say it was such a fun to play this game back in 2012-2015, now it's not the same game but still I can recommend it. Btw I hate Gameforge.

    Nostale is a solid MMORPG, distributed by the german publisher Gameforge.
    While being a dated title, it still has a good graphic design and an interesting gameplay that makes it a fun free to play game

    Well, this is a simple MMORPG for plain demands. It does not offer that much and is mostly a "pay to win" system, but on the other hand can still offer some times filled with joy. It is for sure not a fair game and leveling takes its time, it is very, very repetitive (common for this free MMORPGs) while offering you a mediocre overall experience. I rate this game with six out of ten pointsWell, this is a simple MMORPG for plain demands. It does not offer that much and is mostly a "pay to win" system, but on the other hand can still offer some times filled with joy. It is for sure not a fair game and leveling takes its time, it is very, very repetitive (common for this free MMORPGs) while offering you a mediocre overall experience. I rate this game with six out of ten points because it is free to play, but pay to win and mostly boring, but sometimes funny to play. Just try it out if you can cope with a repetitive and modest gameplay and story.… Expand

    I started playing NosTale when I was 14, and now that I am writing this review I am 27 years old. It was one of the games that fully covered my adolescence. It was never a hugely popular game, but if you stumbled upon trying it, you couldn't let go. The game was beautiful, clean and innovative until 2012, then with the introduction of Act 5 and the shop taking over free-to-play it allI started playing NosTale when I was 14, and now that I am writing this review I am 27 years old. It was one of the games that fully covered my adolescence. It was never a hugely popular game, but if you stumbled upon trying it, you couldn't let go. The game was beautiful, clean and innovative until 2012, then with the introduction of Act 5 and the shop taking over free-to-play it all started to fall apart. Toxic, quarrelsome, obnoxious and tryharder users started to take over, who only played to win, have a monopoly on the game economy and annoy. I regret the years from 2008 to 2012, then the rest all downhill, festive events all the same, lack of ideas. They made up for it with the introduction of Act 7 and 8, but of course pay-to-win always prevailed. Towards the end of 2018 beginning of 2019 they merged the servers within a short period of time due to the lack of players, yet I don't know how, the game is still alive and being updated (probably costs little to maintain). I don't open a thread about the game staff (GMs), which basically consisted of "recommended players", who unloaded their frustration by banning people and randomly punishing them. I've had good times and met a lot of people, and very few people I still hear from, but for me NosTale died in 2012, and I don't recommend anyone who wants to start it now to do so, because it's a game that not only makes you throw away years and years of your life, but being pay-to-win no longer brings you anything. My swordsman will sink when they close the game down, but I thank him for those few fantastic years and for growing up with me....… Expand
