I have been a huge fan of the series since the original Xbox days. I was so excited to see this collection come to PC because of its awesome gameplay and nostalgic factor. However, this is truly one of the laziest ports ever. I cannot even begin to describe how bad it is.

There are no graphics option. I don't mean that the game doesn't give you options to change quality of the graphics.

There are no graphics option. I don't mean that the game doesn't give you options to change quality of the graphics. I mean that it has zero graphics option at all, aside from brightness and contrast. In fact, you cannot even set the screen resolution or windowed/full screen mode. You have to manually type in a code in the game properties panel in the steam launcher just to set the resolution. This is beyond ridiculous.

The games themselves are alright, but the choice of game to be included in this collection is really poor. Instead of Ninja Gaiden Black and the original Ninja Gaiden 2, we are getting the watered down versions for the PS3 (both of which I owned and enjoyed as a PS3 owner).

While it was revealed that the code for NG Black and NG2 were partially lost, I think that for a product that asks their buyers for 50 bucks need so much more work and effort. This collection is just emulating the 3 games on the PS3, with absolutely no updates, upgrades or even effort to include what fans really wanted. Compared to recent remakes and remastered collections, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is an absolute disgrace and an insult to fans of the original games. It is nothing but a cash grab. Do not buy, even if it is on a huge sale.

The games in this bundle have no mouse and keyboard support. Why would you release a game on PC if you do not want to support its native controller?

Can you imagine a game on console with no native gamepad support? You can only get away with this for PC releases because the platform has so many dedicated archivist who buy whatever it is released. I on the other hand have no tolerance

I on the other hand have no tolerance for lackluster products unless they are dirt cheap. As it stands now this game is barely worth half a dollar because it costs me a gamepad to play it.

It gets a "0" since it was not playable, only downloadable.

Мало того, что оптимизации, как таковой и нет, так и не добавили русский язык...
Неужели так сложно добавить русские субтитры, м?

Yeah man, let's make a game on PC with no 1440p support and force using a controller. Yeah let's do that on PC..... ON PC???!! How is this even considered to be a remaster? They just took what they have on consoles and sold it on PC with no effort whatsoever. Disgraceful...

Lack of mouse and keyboard support, barebone port. This is an insult to PC gamers.

Quality-of-life improvements here and there, preserving its online modes, and additional content would have made this the “ultimate” trilogy fans may have been hoping for. Instead, newcomers will enjoy playing one of the best, if not most challenging, action games ever made and older fans will remember why they fell in love with the series in the first place, all of its flaws included.

The Ninja Gaiden trilogy differs from all the other slashers and even today stands out from most of the representatives of the genre. Instead of pleasing the mainstream tastes, the Japanese have created games that require you to master available techniques and are brutally difficult even if you do. Most players will find them much to hard to complete, but that’s why we love these team Ninja’s masterpieces, right? [09/2021, p.36]

Sure, it’s a shame Bluepoint Games weren’t drafted to take care of this collection of and give it some real love, but what the hell. I still had a great time revisiting them, and my only real criticism is that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 was a poor pick in a world where Ninja Gaiden 2 exists. It’s a shame that more of an effort wasn’t made to jazz these up, but it’s still great that the classics are finally on PC.
