    The game looks better than ever but plays the same, so newcomers to the series should not skip one of the best JRPGs of all time, I would be “brokenhearted.” On a serious note, Ni no Kuni remains the same charming game that I've played several years ago and I'm glad that Bandai Namco has decided to bring it to a larger audience.

    Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is just as charming and endearing now as it was when it first came out almost a decade ago. While it does look and play better on PC it would have been nice to see more improvements and a few quality of life additions to bring the game up to modern standards.

    Overall, the game provides a fulfilling experience for those wishing to jump into a beautifully designed JRPG world, especially now that it is available for desktop gamers who missed out on its original release. Whilst it doesn’t push the boat out in terms of narrative or its attention to structural design, it rewards those who can appreciate a game for its endearing elements, exploring its roaming hills and bustling towns, as well as laughing alongside its friendly and good-natured companions.

    If you’re at all intrigued by Ni No Kuni, I’d strongly advise you to just go and play Revenant Kingdom instead. It’s a far more enjoyable JRPG than Wrath of the White Witch, and it won’t make you feel like snapping your keyboard in two out of a white-hot fury of your own (if only because its actual mouse and keyboard controls are much easier to get to grips with in the first place).

I warn you about this game, and am amaze and appalled at the high ratings it keeps getting. The only way this can get high ratings is from underdog-identifying jrpg obsessed fans that refuse to see flaws because they use a mindless grind to cope with reality.

    First of all, that beautiful, unique, aesthetic world is constantly ruined with puns. The spell to open doors is Open-says-a-me! HAHHAHAHAHAHA. WOW SO FUNNY! Imagine if Bloodborne or Skyrim ruined it's aesthetic like this. Wow this cave is called "Bandits think they aren't about to get killed Cave!" HAHAHAHAHA. The only reason this isn't brought up is because the large majority of jrpg fans are extremely trashy. Skip this Game

    Oh before I started writing this, when I was giving the game a final chance, the game crashed when I was saving, loosing loads of mindless-grindy progress. Just putting this here in case you were thinking this was too negative and wouldn't read all this. Skip this Game.

    You are from the normal Earth world and go to a fantasy style world. You meet a cute companion and bring her back to your world. How does she react???? SHE DOESN'T REACT AT ALL. Skip this Game.

    You have to collect milk from the milk fountains in town. You go to one only to find it isn't the one the game decided you should go to, the prompt just doesn't show up at all, you had to somehow predict that the developers wanted you to only collect milk from a certain fountain even though that isn't part of the story or quest at all. Skip this Game.

    How is the grind? If you have the Remastered or preordered the original, then you have Griffy and the grind is grindy. If not, then you have to constantly consume expensive health and mana potions all the time. Most of the Pokémon are completely weak and useless. [oh, and this is true on Easy difficulty] Skip this Game.

    Did a quest, it isn't completed because it's glitched. Skip this Game!

    You thought the art style was good? Wait until you see the most appallingly ugly talking tree design you have ever seen or imagined. Skip this Game!

    Have you ever played Dragon Age 2? Do you remember the Arishok fight where if you stopped running for even a second he'd beat you like youHave you ever played Dragon Age 2? Do you remember the Arishok fight where if you stopped running for even a second he'd beat you like you owed him money and shave a huge chunk of health? Well congratulations, you've already played this game! Spend every fight frantically running away from enemies and spamming spells because nobody in your party can take a hit. Even worse is basic attacks do little damage and leave you open to getting hit. Need to defend but playing with a character who can only evade? Prepare to get slapped silly because you don't have enough time to change summons. Summons themselves have an animation that your locked into but they can be damaged while doing it. Even worse is the fact that the menu has buttons that are directly BELOW the control stick, so the quick change feature makes you stop moving in order to switch summons. The most egregious problem is the HP/MP system. You don't get regen, so you have to hoard health items just in case you have to use MP to progress. They mitigate this problem by making enemies and Mr. Drippy drop health and magic orbs, but they disappear after a while and you have to run up to them while dodging enemies. The studio Ghibli style is nothing more than a crutch for this game, it's literally the only reason I kept playing.… Full Review »

La banda sonora es maravillosa, de lo mejorcito. Algunos personajes son algo planos y las ciudades podrían tener un poco mas de vida. Las luchas no estan bien equilibradas pasando del aburrido atacar por atacar a jefes realmente dificiles. En fin un juego de su época al que no se le puede pedir mucho.… Full Review »
