If you played NSS3 and liked it (or even if you didn't), don't buy this game. I loved NSS3 and I was hoping for a version with refined gameplay, more indepth attributes and more realism. Boy, was I wrong.

Here is a list of some of the reasons why I don't like the game:
- Gameplay: the player feels like gliding on ice. If you release the running button, your player just glides on. This makes for frustrating moments when trying to move with precision. The camera keeps zooming in and out all the time. I had no issues controlling the player in NSS3 with great precision, but this feels just frustrating. What kind of soccer player can't stop running without continuing on for 3 meters?
- AI: the players around you are total morons, no improvement at all. On the contrary, I feel they got even dumber. Very disappointing, but at least it somehow creates a balance with the horrible player control.
- Simplified training system: less room for player progress, most of the training challenges are a joke. What is the target group? 5 year olds?
- Graphics: no real progress, just a different skin. And not the good kind of different. Lacking atmosphere and charm. The online comparison, which seems to be the central part, since it's the home screen is useless for single player why make it the central point? Useless.
My overall experience is, that the game feels bland. A big step back from NSS3, I wish I hadn't spent my money on it.… Expand
