    Ugly locations, absurd puzzles, feeble attempts at horror, and a lame ‘quiz’ at the end of each case… I was expecting a moving story, but I got only two short boring stories instead. Incorporating a new technology in a video game is a great idea. But you have to make a decent game first.

    Nevermind represents a worthy concept and provides an unsettling atmosphere that fans of thrillers will love, but by the time you’re starting to wonder where the story is going, you’ll realize you actually completed the game twenty minutes earlier.

Да интересно, уникальный игровой опыт, но есть одно НО, которое меня очень расстроило. Игра понастоящему, как я понял, раскрывается только со специальными датчиками по измерению пульса. Типа, чем сильнее вы боитесь, тем ещё страшнее вам станет (больше страшных специфектов и изменения самого мира в большую наркоманию). Без датчиков, игра становится не такая страшная и более линейная чем могла бы быть. Кухня водой не наполняется, лицо на леденце не появилось. В общем, когда я прошёл игру я остался доволён, но когда узнал, что пол игры (1/4 минимум), как будто вырезано из-за датчиков погуглив на ютубе, меня это расстроило.

    Всего один вопрос к разработчикам: где опция для тех у кого нет датчиков под названием: уровень страха? Она бы очень помогла заранее закалённым игрокам ощутить всю красоту вашей работы.

    Независимо от того, что я разочарован, так как аналогов я такому уникальному гейплею не знаю, я бы даже покупал DLC. Потому независимо ни от чего советую, но учтите, без датчиков всю мощь игры не ощутить. И видосики с датчиками на ютубе я нашёл только на англ.    … Full Review »

    Nevermind is an atmospheric adventure/exploration game with horror elements. I really don't wanna call it 'walking simulator', it has way too many puzzles for it.

    Pros:
    + Creative and diverse visuals. Nevermind a lot of time looks like more realistic and creepy Psychonauts)
    + Accurate usage of jumpscares, most of the horror comes from the atmosphere
    + Great monologues and voice-acting
    + Reasonable length for that sort of experience

    Cons:
    - A lot of puzzles are mediocre, especially extremely long and linear car labyrinth
    - Final puzzle of every chapter - sorting photos - is unfairly difficult and unintuitive
    - I really don't get why Advanced Neuromapping is not the part of main game and require additional playthrough    … Full Review »
