    Never Alone is a game overflowing with history, but its strong focus on storytelling sadly impacts negatively on the gameplay. Several mechanics feel frustrating and unpolished, however the overall impression is somewhat lifted by the thorough introduction into the traditions and culture of the Iñupiat people.

    Adorable main characters and political correctness cannot hide the fact that this is a very poor game. All you do is jump, skid, and hop. That's it, that's the only connect between native culture and this game. I was attracted by the two main characters but they are the only thing appealing in this game. That isn't good enough. The only challenge in this game is poor controls and unintuitive puzzles, which often make no sense. The 2 points are only for pretty visauls and movie clips, which are somewhat interesting.     It's a cute little puzzle solving platformer. It's pretty simple game play and has a few bugs but it is a great game to pick up for your kid.It's a cute little puzzle solving platformer.
