A quirky and fun adventure that could go far with a few little tweaks.

A pleasant, imaginative, original and fair –regarding the amount of money it targeted on Kickstarter- adventure game. It doesn’t last long, but features a rich and vivid world, accompanied by excellent voice overs and harmonious music orchestration.

It's not particularly groundbreaking, but it's a nice graphic adventure, with a strong atmosphere and good puzzles.

Nelly Cootalot: the Fowl Fleet is a nice little game with great production values in writing and dubbing. Gameplay is basic and uninspired, but the narrative is a blast and you will have an hilarious time playing it.

Nelly Cootalot’s latest voyage is overflowing with charm and heart – and puns, oh the puns! It may not be the stiffest challenge out there, but it’ll leave you with a warm feeling inside.

In a month full of high-quality adventure games from some of the most respected names in the genre, relatively unknown newcomer Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet could be my favourite of the lot. It’s incredibly funny and charming, with a lovely kid’s cartoon feel to it.

  1. A delightful, charming, and relaxing affair. It’s a Sunday afternoon television of a game, and goodness me, does that have a place. It’s funny, daft, and the look is incessantly fantastic. Backgrounds are beautifully drawn, characters are well animated, and the voice cast are all modestly strong. And it’s got Tom Baker in it. I had a thoroughly lovely time.

I am an adventure newbie and have to say all puzzles were fair and well thought through. The end of the game is a good surprise and it is a bit sad that it is the end. I would have played much longer. ;-) Full Review »
