    With graphics and play modes that live up to what you expect from an EA Sports title, but gameplay that is seriously lacking, NBA Live 06 is mediocre at best.

Unfortunately, the joy of these moves is counteracted by the extremely frustrating inability of players to make layups and other close-in shots.

    Hardcore simulation fans really need not apply due to the broken rebounding model. But if you want a lot of high-flying sizzle in your hoops game and you don't care about the other minutiae, then by all means pick it up.

    One would think that EA sports is advancing positively in all aspects of computer sports gaming in terms of gameplay graphivs etc. FIrstly, One would think that EA sports is advancing positively in all aspects of computer sports gaming in terms of gameplay graphivs etc. FIrstly, EA sports does not seem to have advanced positively in terms of NBA 's gameplay. Very cheap and sharp player movement, weird player rebounding as well as player details definitely disappoint. The only positive thing can be said about its sound (so what) and slightly about the graphics (which however do not help the gameplay). I was definitely expecting something more in terms of gameplay atributes than technical ones from EA which has gained "unlimited experience" in these kind of areas.… Full Review »
