    The level design is flawless, keeping even the most responsive player on their toes and leaving you always hungry for more. It has addictive qualities which can take up hours at a time as “only one more level” becomes 5 levels later.

    The sound cue that plays when an enemy charges towards you should be enough for you to know to jump over it. You will die a lot, but you’ll always know what killed you, and you’ll always know it’s your own fault for not being fast enough. That’s what makes completing a particularly hard level all the more satisfying. You’ll slowly unlock new colour schemes which simply swap the colour palette.

    N++ is a minimalist platforming game. The central "twist" in it is the use of momentum - as you build up momentum, you can run faster, jumpN++ is a minimalist platforming game. The central "twist" in it is the use of momentum - as you build up momentum, you can run faster, jump higher and further, and fling yourself around a lot faster.

    This is somewhat at odds with its precision platforming at times, but works reasonably well at others.

    Sadly, while the levels are okay, the game itself is pretty lacking in character; it is designed to be minimalist, but it ends up coming off as cheap (price-wise, not gameplay-wise - though the latter comes up at times, as the levels get hard fast). It also seems to center around collecting every little gold coin in each level (and there are *lots* of levels), ultimately giving it a somewhat tedious feeling in many cases.

    It also is far too long for the number of elements it has; it contains thousands of levels, but after it introduces a pretty small number of elements fairly early, it has nothing more to show you, instead replacing variety with sheer difficulty.

    This isn't an awful game; what it is is mediocre. The level design is okay, but you're not really given any reason to keep playing, and it ends up wearing thin while there are still many thousands of levels yet to play.    … Full Review »

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. N++ has been my favourite game since its first version, and this, latest chapter is simply fantastic .
    Design has changed a lot, added new themes, a lot of new levels, and, what`s most addictive - new challenges (for those, who has completed all n++ levels) and they are insanely difficult
    Have to say, it is the most challenging and addictive platformer I have ever played.
    Also have to mention, that soundtrack is great and keeps the player in suspense. I have even added all tracks to my personal playlist.    … Full Review »
