All I can say for sure is that the game evokes a strong one more match before I quit mentality. The gameplay and the rules work like an oiled machine keeping a steam engine rolling. Of course, the play can get a bit repetitive and there could be more variety, but then again, it wouldn’t be the same game anymore.

Conceptually interesting hide-and-seek that rewards cleverness, but lacks variety.

From its amusing setting to its solid gameplay mechanics, Murderous Pursuits has a lot going for it. When you boil it down, it’s a fun game to play, especially with a few friends to share in the antics.

Murderous Pursuits is a fine continuation of The Ship and the concepts it implemented so well. The core of the game is extremely solid, delivering a fun multiplayer experience throughout every match. The only problem is that there's just not enough here to keep most people coming back on a regular schedule. For the price the amount of content is fine, but the missing potential at launch is tough to get past.

As someone who was a big fan of the Assassin’s Creed multiplayer template, I’m saddened to see that Murderous Pursuits basically functions as a stripped-down barebones version of that same concept. The game’s Victorian contest of cat and mouse where players are always both the cat *and* the mouse is certainly a unique find amid the usual competitive fare, there’s just not enough meat on its bones to keep more casual players invested over the long term.

The great potential of the game on hunters and victims has not been used. Murderous Pursuits would need more content, technical care and, ultimately, players to escape the stereotype.

A solid multiplayer experience with some interesting ideas, but with a severe lack of content at the moment.

Murderous Pursuits is an entertaining, inventive, and accessible online multiplayer experience hobbled by its technical issues, stingy amount of content, and lack of polish. The game’s developers are promising to brush up and expand the game over the coming months, but will it ever reach its full potential? Only time will tell. There’s fun to be had at this murder party, but you’re probably best showing up fashionably late.

Murderous Pursuits is an irregular experience with a strong lack of elements to produce a real motivation to enjoy hours and hours of murdering in the ship. It's a shame: looks different than any other game lately.

There is potential for amusing cat-and-mouse exchanges, but a lobby full of humans is hard to find.

Murderous Pursuits is an interesting "kill-or-be-killed" multiplayer game ideia. Graphically the game is OK, with an interesting art style. But unfortunately the game is repetitive and even boring after a few hours. And in addition to that I try the game in different hours and it is not always easy to find other players online to play it.

Unfortunately my playing experience was poor and the game was weak and could not hold my interest.
Due to that I do not recommend it.
