    Pros: A very well organised murder mystery story with good progression and narration. The ending was really top notch and good. Overall quite a good game with some unique game play.

    Cons: Faced some bugs and issues, some of them were solved by putting the game in V-Sync ON, but the issue is my monitor is 144Hz and after turning on the V-sync , game gets locked to 30 FPS which is really    Pros: A very well organised murder mystery story with good progression and narration.     I'm a fan of both Sherlock holmes movies, so I love a good detective job. But in the game part, they usually can't do detective games. I saw that clearly in this game as well. You don't feel like a detective, because finding cases is not difficult at all. The tempo of the game is very repetitive. Gameplay is so boring. There is very little to do around.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Graphics are sucks because even with a powerful pc , the fps is stuck to 30. And you can't really fix it.
    Fight mechanics are sh*t. But when you go along with the story you know what to do. So it is fine.
    My problem is with afterlife part though. It doesn't give you the satisfaction you looking for. If you watched some horror movies/tv shows you figure how it will end half way through the game.
    After all , it is an old game. Buy it on sale. Play it for the story.    … Expand

    Pros.: - Characters, especially Ronan. He resembles Constantine a lot: smoking, acting. The difference is he's not a medium but a ghost. - Detective stories are always good. - Revelation at the end. - The length is perfect.     Murdered: Souls Suspect is a great concept with not great everything else. It's seems very unforunate all around, with the story being so forgetable that it's incredible, and the gameplay being unremarkable at best. There's not much to say, except for the fact that I wish someone makes this very game again, but with a bigger budget and more effort and talent put into development

    The story itself was a great idea. It had a great potential. A dead detective wants to uncover the mystery behind his death in the dark world...but Square Enix couldn't really execute it well. The story was nonsense. The ending was nonsense. side missions were nonsense.
    Some positive points were graphics, and characteristic of main character, Ronan. His    A total disappointment!

    Это даже игрой назвать на самом деле сложно, тупо микрокино с ужасно скучным миром, отвратным дизайном уровней, пососным сюжетом ( из-за того, что мотивации то нет у убийцы), отсутствием атмосферы, и тд и тп.     Неплохая история и идея. Такую игру вполне можно назвать интерактивным кином. Но коллектблсов могли чуть меньше сделать. В целом мне понравилось.

    To be honest this game is very sad,emotional plus sadistic game the gameplay is awesome there is many mystery in the game I don't want to share go play and find yourself I am a huge life is strange fan I can bet LIS fan gonna cry to play this game cause of similarity and this game truly mature minded detective game its sometime spooky little bit horror not very scary after all you might get little bugs if you have low ending pc not sure at all

    Whoever play this game he wanted to cry but he gonna force himself not to cry being sad and focusing on the game there's lot of part and moment heartbreaking :(

    About the graphics I will mention it later I played with very low settings lag fps so I didn't get the best gfx experience

É ai que o game começa, você vira uma alma penadaMurder: Souls Suspect é um jogo do genero investigativo, você é um policial que está investigando uma serie de assasinatos na cidade de Salem (Aquela da lenda das bruxas), está seguindo o rastro do suspeito e ao se deparar com ele em uma casa é arremesado da janela, cai na rua inconsciente e é morto por sua propia arma a 7 tiros. É ai que o game começa, você vira uma alma penada literalmente e seu espirito não pode descansar enquanto não descobrir quem te matou, você terá de investigar toda a cidade, os locais dos assasinatos, conversar com as almas das vitimas e com isso concluir o caso. O gameplay é facil e contem bastante stealth, você pode atravesar paredes e apenas objetos fantasmagoricos irão bloquear sua passagem, demonios estarão a sua caça e você pode derrota-los com um golpe por trás, não importa o barulho que você fizer eles apenas notarão sua presença se te verem, MSS traz um gameplay repetitivo e um pouco enjoativo, você chega no local, investiga as pistas e conclui o que acontenceu e vai para o proximo local, definitivamente gameplay não é seu forte e sim a historia, que te prente no jogo, campanha varia de 6 a 7 horas dependendo do tanto que você explorar e quem busca o 100% o tempo pode dobrar, pois tera que zerar no minimo 2x, Recomendo com certeza, a historia é legal e vale a pena dar uma chance, mas compre na promoção pois e bem curto!… Expand

    I really liked the game. it's new. I liked the story and the puzzles. There's not a lot of action and the action that's there isn't all that interesting and doesn't really add anything to the game or to the story, but it does fit in.

    Murdered Soul Suspect is a very good detective adventure game launched back in 2014 but that only now, in 2019, I have played.
    Honestly the game took me by surprise, since it was not exactly what I was expecting it to be, especially because the concept of the game was not what I expected.     Graphically the game is OK, for a 2014 title, and the controls are fluid and facies to pick up. I've just been frustrated at some elemental moments, at the presence of the demons, that become repetitive and tiring.

    I fully recommend the game, especially if you can get it on a promotion. Hope you all liked it!

Many supernatural elements come into play – ghosts, witches, demons – and some flashbacks of the witch trials are pretty gruesome (drowning, burning, hanging).

Playing as Ronan's ghost, investigate a series of crime scenes (sometimes with the help of teenage medium Joy), searching for identity of the killer. Many supernatural elements come into play – ghosts, witches, demons – and some flashbacks of the witch trials are pretty gruesome (drowning, burning, hanging).

    As the investigation progresses, you'll explore a graveyard, an apartment house, an old mansion, a police station and of course the obligatory asylum level. While the game world is small, it is open, with the ability to just wander around the town of Salem. It's a gloomy place – the game occurs entirely at night – but is well-dotted with NPCs and collectibles. Obtaining collectibles can unlock other stories (usually brief, narrated cut-scenes), and some NPCs will provide side-missions. There's a decent amount of stuff to do, but most collectibles were easily found as I explored the town or a level.

    Investigations require exploring a a crime scene, finding evidence (“Press E to analyze”) and sorting through the collected evidence (“Press Q to conclude the investigation”). Walking (or later, teleporting) around as a ghost feels fun; Ronan can walk through walls, possess people (mind-reading), and turn on random stuff to mess with the townsfolk (poltergeisting). Especially cool were the impenetrable “ghost walls” from past times that can block Ronan from exploring – or even provide new hazards (watch out for the ghost train!). Oh, and you can possess cats, too. This is actually crucial to progress through several stages of the game.

    The demon sections, though, dragged the experience down a bit. Demons will sometimes spawn after completing an investigation. Their existence does have a crucial part to play, and they're easy enough to defeat with a little patience. Given that this is a supernatural tale, it would be rather weird if demons of some kind weren't in the game, and having some stealth sections added some variety to the gameplay. But after a while the demons became annoying distractions from the story.

    And the narrative is where Murdered: Soul Suspect stands strongest. There is a lot of backstory to be found about Ronan and his wife (via collectibles). Sometimes collectibles in games are merely annoying, but they are worth pursuing here. Jason Brooks (as Ronan) and Cassidy Lehrman (as the medium, Joy) provide stand-out vocal performances. The graphics (Unreal 3) are great – murky and dark. Jason Graves' score provides a classic horror-story undertone. Murdered: Soul Suspect is a well-crafted detective game with a few quirks that holds its story aloft as its best attribute.    … Expand

    Побочные миссии к сожалению скучны, очень мало контента. Это не позволяет назвать продукт ААА тайтлом, сколько денег бы не было потрачено на рекламу. В целом достойно    Игра интересна.

    The game gets an A for effort, but unfortunately the same can't be said of the core gameplay mechanics, which are dull and repetitive. The storyline is engaging, but other than that there's not much to write home about. [Aug 2014]
