Moving Out is a light-hearted approach to the art of furniture removal, and with the cute visuals, hilarious dialogue and story, and simple control scheme, Moving Out is a game that is accessible for anyone. The bonus level achievements and the Gold Medal collection will mean that each level has a certain amount of replayability as gamers chase down each of the achievements on offer. And with up to four players locally, the whole family can get into the fun-filled action (especially during a period of isolation). Moving furniture has never been so entertaining.

Moving Out is a joyous experience. The chaos is ever-present, but the chill approach ensures that everyone is having a good time instead of gradually wanting to tear each other apart. The number of levels is just right, and the presentation is appealing. It serves as a perfect complement to other co-op titles and belongs in the library of anyone who enjoys the genre.

As an avid fan of the Overcooked series I am more than happy to see some additional representatives of the Couch coop genre – especially if they are as well-made as Moving Out.

Moving Out is a fast-paced, arcade-style co-op that leans into carefree, chaotic, over-the-top gameplay.

Couch co-op that’s equal parts cathartic and chaotic. There’s no better way to bond than by tossing a TV or two into oncoming traffic. Moving Out’s charming, physics-based gameplay and equally quirky levels demand you bring a friend or three.

Provided you’ve got at least one friend in tow to share the load and the laughs, Moving Out is an absolute blast. It takes a simple set of mechanics and milks madness and mirth from them in equal measures, consistently shaking up the parameters of its heavy-lifting assignments to keep you on your toes while you’re bending at the knees. Moving Out is the best way to get your mates to help you move house without having to owe them a case of beer afterwards.

An accessible and fun local multiplayer experience, excellent if your'e looking for something to play with a younger brother. If you're looking for a more layered gameplay, though, better stick to Overcooked.

Although the single player mode bored me to death, I found a lot of excitement in co-op. That, unsurprisingly, is what the game was built for. [07/2020, p.66]

Interesting concept with a real Overcooked vibe but feels rough around the edges on execution. The lack of online multiplayer is absolute poison for the game and makes the game virtually unplayable for anything but couch-coop. Even then, there are far better games for the price that are far more feature-rich to boot.

Maybe pick up for a quick buzz with a local friend at the $5-10 mark but a hard pass at the current price point with how little it offers.

Moving out seems like an interesting idea for a coop game but it's executed poorly.
The game is suspiciously similar to "Overcooked!" but it's made by a different studio. The striking resemblance is increased even by details like wheelchair characters and most importantly the level select loby where you drive a vehicle around to pick a level.

But unlike Overcooked Moving Out is a 100% brainless game. And that's the sole but major problem of this game. In Overcooked you have to make various meals based on different recipes while being pushed by time and equipment limits whereas in Moving Out you just move all object from a house to the truck and that's it. There's literally no need to think since the game doesn't give you any other challenge nor it penalizes you for damaging properties.

To compare the experience with some similar games, it's if Overcooked had just one recipe consisted of only one ingredient throughout the whole game or as if "Papers, please" had just one information to verify.

This game may have nice artstyle, animations, interesting heavily sarcastic humour or good transwhite pedophile bootleg music but the game is one huge chore to play and it's repetitive since the very first level.
I guess this game falls into the "games to play with your girlfriend" category.
