    At first glance, Mortal Online seemed to be a hardcore PvP sandbox style game, but after easily putting in 100+ hours, I feel not only cheatedAt first glance, Mortal Online seemed to be a hardcore PvP sandbox style game, but after easily putting in 100+ hours, I feel not only cheated out of my money, but out of my time as well. This glitchfest of a game is riddled with game breaking bugs, laggy FPS problems (that effect even high end rigs) and a less then noob friendly environment, that will have you constantly pulling out your hair every time you get stuck on a rock and killed for all your loot. For the amount of time I but into this game I feel as though I did nothing but grind for my guild and watch other get away with exploiting game mechanics. There is no story in this game, so you are pretty much forced to make your own, and I would call that the highlight of this game, being able to do what you want when you want is nice but that "nice" feeling quickly dies when you fall threw the map time after time. Oh, and I almost most the GMs in the game are also players of the game, so corruption and favoritism is very prevalent and noticeable. I find it funny when you tell a GM that think someone might be using a hack, and the character using the hack laughs in your face, says he is using a hack, and that there is nothing you can about it. If you dont beleive any of what i say, try the 14 day trial and see for yourself.     Very niche game, very few people like all PVP all the time. I was used to this, played UO forever (back when there were NO safe zones), so this is not a "the game is bad cuz I died" review. This is a game is not going to last because the vast majority of the MMORPG community would prefer to have a PVE area for leveling, and then a persistent PVP area See Dark Ages of Camelot for a game that was set up well (had balance issues, but the framework was right)

    Not an MMORPG. Sorry, it's not. It's an MMOFPS with a very few RPG elements, most of which you'll not get to experience too much due to the PVP, player killing, and griefing.

    It's FIRST person ONLY. MMORPG's are generally THIRD person, with a first person option. Why even bother to have character customization a STAPLE of MMORPG's when you never even get to see your character?

    MASSIVE time consuming download and install. 8+ hours to get this thing up and running on my cable provider's max broadband speed package.
